Curious to why there is a electrical outlet in the floor of the living room?

Not uncommon to have outlets in floors of older homes so one can place a table next to couch or chair and easily plug in a lamp. A lot of older homes didn’t originally have overhead lighting and some wall and floor plugs would be controlled by a switch by the door of the room entrance.

Love this house, been watching it since ir was odiginally listed at $325k. I think Mule Branch rd is hindering it. The owners of Bison View Lodge told me Tray Mtn rd isnt too bad because they have cleaners that drive passenger cars there with no problem, so i assume Mule Branch rd must be rough. Great video though

Mule Branch Rd does have it challenges. I live full time on it myself so travel it regularly. This is a nice home BUT needs a septic tank installed is really what is hindering the sale of it! Easy repair but scary to most folks.

Homes on either side and across the street appear well kept. I personally know the couple to the left when facing the property and they’re professionals that keep to themselves. I’m not familiar with the other immediate neighbors.
