You can just simply place them multiple times again in a place around your character’s pointer then the beacons previous locations will be removed, because you can only place 5 of them at the same time :)

I would like to see an "experiment". Can you hit those "Gatefront Ruins" soldiers with their large rectangular shield on their shield (making your weapon "bounce off") and then try to evade getting hit by them? I would like to see how fast your Tarnished moves, after you have pressed the appropriate button.

Thanks for the kind thoughts! Souls games are difficult to work out on your own. I think FromSoft make the games that way to encourage online searches and interest in the game. I personally love that as it gets us all sharing information and discussing it. Even 2+ years after release, ER is still attracting many new players and keeping current players interested. It's a big reason why I've made a dedicated channel and I will keep adding content to it. Now is a perfect time for you to start playing again. I am trying to make sure this channel helps any new player get into the game and understand what to do and where to go. Much of the fun of the game is exploring, but I'm trying to add videos that can be dipped into when you're stuck or you want to find a particular item. It's a huge project, but I'll get there!

@ 18:30 wtf dude you didn't actually demonstrate how much magic defense worked. You got hit by 2 or 3 melee dagger hits instead of the 5 magic beams, making your little demonstration useless there.

Fair point! Thanks for taking the time to let me know. I was focused on giving the info there and thought I'd taken a magic hit somewhere along the way, as my health had dropped. I'm not sure if the enemies there have any magic damage on their daggers, as that would be negated too by the item. But yeah, I should have shown a clear magic hit. But the tip is still useful info if you've not noticed items can protect against certain damage types.

You should have mentioned roll buffering, which helps you control the timing of your roll with more precision. You'll notice that both rolling and sprinting are on the same button. One is a press, the other is a hold. But because it works this way, the game doesn't actually read your button press, it checks whether or not you _released_ the button to determine if you're trying to sprint or roll. You'll also notice that there is a small window of time after you start holding the button before you actually start sprinting. This is the window that the game is checking for a button release for a roll. If you release the button at any point during this window, a roll will immediately come out, but the window closes once you start sprinting. So you input the roll just before you think you'll need to, and then you can release the button at exactly the right moment to dodge. This gives you an "extra" opportunity to get your dodge off if your initial timing was bad, and because you don't have to first press and then release the button to trigger the dodge, it comes out a little bit faster, too.
@GrubmagnetRing
@GrubmagnetRing 3 күн бұрын
Thanks for taking the time to share that information. For me, I suppose I naturally hold the button until the roll starts, rather than click. But that may just be because I've played the game for so long, it's become second nature.

On building for damage I entirely agree, and usually maintain that building for damage is almost always worse than building for option expansion or durability. Dark Souls 1 is the only game in the series where hitting certain damage benchmarks actually matters in the big picture, where a few points of AR can actually make the difference between hitting for 27 damage or 100, due to demons sealed in the damage formula I still don't entirely understand. In Elden Ring, squeezing an extra 10 points of AR out of a weapon is rarely significant in terms of damage output, and often doesn't even change hit to kill formulas with any degree of significance. You're still usually killing regular enemies in say, 3 hits, minibosses die in 9 instead of 10, and full bosses in 17 or 18 instead of 20, if you put some of your early points into pure damage optimization. Building for utility or expanded options is usually a lot more significant in terms of actually tackling problems, as almost always, switching to a weapon with a better moveset to the problem at hand, better suited damage types, or with a specific interaction in mind is almost always dramatically more important than squeezing damage, and building for durability improves ALL options, while building for damage improves only specific ones. This is true for most of the game, but especially early on. These factors are amplified for newer players to the franchise in general, as well. Expanding options your character CAN use means exposing yourself to more weapons, playstyles, and setups, and thus increases the speed with which you'll find things that click with you, while building for durability buys you time to learn enemy movesets, try new things, and generally gather more information on attempts. You won't know that, say, for whatever reason, the one handed hammer moveset just works for you, unless you try out one handed hammers. Building for damage only really starts mattering much later down the road, where you start stacking modifiers to the point that hit-to-kill formulas start actually shifting dramatically. Killing in 5 or 6 hits versus 20, for example. But that relies on in depth game knowledge and familiarity

Great video, I liked it :) It covered everything I think a new player should know about those topics and struck a great balance between holding people's hands to walk people through it while still being brisk and quick to digest. Well done =) I particularly value the showcase of just how much better strike damage is against Miners because I think it can be hard to wrap your head around just how much this game will reward you for playing to enemy weaknesses sometimes. We get to see a few things happen in this video that make it even more valuable as demonstration but does not get highlighted, probably to cut down on runtime. I'll timestamp them as an added bonus to any viewers who wanna learn more from the footage shown: 3:41 While it doesn't glow now, you can in fact live out your Darth Maul fantasies with any number of weapon buffs - Flaming Strike (an Ash of War), Sacred Blade (an Ash of War Grub's demonstrated obtaining ^_^), Scholar's Armament (a spell you can find within ten minutes), Bloodflame Blade (an incantation requiring a short trip to Liurnia), basically any Grease (a type of consumable) will, in addition to being highly effective on rapid multi-hit weapons like the Twinblade, make it glow and look cool =3 I get why it's not brought up, it's tangential, just know if you want glow you can get glow =) 3:55 While the character is high level for Limgrave, stats only translate meaningfully to damage when using upgraded weapons, which is why it's good to level Vigor early when upgrades don't go very far. These clips are showing maybe 10-20 percent tops more damage than you'd get out of a starting character. Your results with a new character will not be much different ^_^ 4:15 While the large dog took a bit more time to take down, it's worth appreciating that once the attacks started coming in, it never got to respond. The Twinblade hits a sweet spot of attack speed, reach and damage. A katana has comparable reach and damage, but doesn't attack fast enough to stop the dog from hitting you back. The Warrior class with its twin curved swords gives you comparable speed and reach, but not the damage to stun it. The Prisoner's Estoc gives you comparable damage and speed, but actually struggles to hit things like dogs because thrusting attacks struggle compared to the wide sweeping strikes of the Twinblade against low to the ground evasive enemies like dogs, rats, vulgar militia, or a number of other creatures. Even better, when he does kill the dog, the Twinblade is only halfway through its maximum attack chain - you could stunlock and kill an entire second dog before attack animations stopped and you had to pause. After the 3-4 swings he does, both a Katana and Estoc would stop swinging. 6:02 I'm glad to see him show the fact that doing this the hardest and fastest way way is still entirely doable. If anyone wants an easier path to the Epee, on the way to the bridge you go to later for the morningstar is a Spirit Spring that takes you behind the camp, letting you sneak up on the wizards and kill them before they can cast a spell, and get first swing on the Kaiden Sellswords (the burly brutes with the curved greatswords who took a beating). It takes longer, yet can be a safer path if the frontal assault is proving a struggle for a starting character. 7:23 Similar to how those who struggle going through the 'front door' to get the Great Epee might benefit from the Spirit Spring to go in from behind, if you go from Agheel Lake South up the hill to the Evergoal, and then further past it to the cliff behind it, there is a point (you'll know it when you see it) where you can use Torrent's double jump and comfortably cross the distance between Limgrave and the Weeping Peninsula, letting you bypass the bridge. The video does a great job showing how the bridge is hardly insurmountable, but I remember being new and dying on this bridge quite a lot, so it's there if you need it =) 9:17 This kill is actually a really good showcase of another reason why the Great Epee is, well, great. Impaling Thrust does so much damage that the first Misbegotten dies from full with the "unnoticed attacker" damage bonus. The second Misbegotten doesn't take that much damage because he sees Grub coming...but is still poise broken and ripe for a critical hit. This is because Impaling Thrust does a wild amount of stance damage, making it excellent for killing dragons weak to Piercing with Impaling Thrust to the head - a very easy way to kill Agheel early on. 12:07 Grub is right to say the Twinblade does standard damage here even though the entry says Standard/Pierce. The reason is that even though it says it does Pierce, literally only one move in the entire range of moves does pierce damage - the jumping R2, a downwards thrust attack, which makes it extremely painful to land against, say, a dragon's head, where you'd most want the Piercing damage early on. For all intents and purposes, if you want Piercing damage, the Epee is your bae.

Glad you liked the video. Again, wonderful insight by you there to add further value to this video. Thank you for taking the time. You're right that I was trying to keep the video as concise as I could. You've raised some good points there that could be worth exploring in other videos. I do show sacred blade in other videos, but totally agree that that would go some way to making a Darth Maul look. Bloodflame blade is calling methinks for a nice red glow. Apologies for how long this is. I did my best to keep it short and write it with care, but I also wanted to provide examples and concrete, actionable information. The TL:DR I suppose is that I think you'll get the furthest doing edited gameplay of PvE or PvP variety with commentary and/or music serving as a tutorial rather than basic "where to find" X, since that sort of information is so widely available and the game's popularity saw so much released for it. Elden Ring content is pretty saturated - its popularity combined with the long windows of time without the DLC being out and the overall intensity of the Fromsoft Soulslike community meant that you can find everything from no-hit all bosses runs, to randomizers, to invasions, to lockout bingo, to "beat the game with only X" runs, modded content, to challenge runs like random weapons being equipped by a mod or script every sixty seconds. I think I knew that the game might have had nearly all its content mined out when I saw that someone beat the Fire Giant with a torch. There are still two niches that don't get enough love: 1) Well-edited tutorials, especially on how to do certain more challenging things. A good example of this is that I was sweating my ass off trying to find out how to parry all of Malenia's attacks with a curved sword. Some of those have to be frame-perfect because of the increased startup frames and reduced active frames, and for the life of me I couldn't find one for the attack I wanted to parry. I could find clips of people parrying it, but none breaking down that specific attack. I wound up basically having to open my own video recording software and analyze times I'd failed and succeeded at parrying it going frame by frame and taking screenshots of the beginning of my parry animation relative to hers. Taking this kind of content where you showcase unique ways of handling fight mechanics and break it down in slow-mo would fill a niche. Another thing I realized I could do that probably could have made for good content was that I taught myself how to nullify Rellana's phase 2 sword beam salvo with Ranni's Dark Moon spell dissolving effect, but that requires casting it at a certain time from a certain range or else some attacks still need to be dodged at the end. Another was that I was able to use Rellana's Twin Moons to nullify the AOE in Bayle's phase 2 transition while getting more damage in on him. Another thing that blew my mind to learn from a short is that you can use Raptor of the Mists to nullify the Prime Consort Radahn phase 2 transition, which seemed unavoidable. I'd been countering it with Uplifting Aromatic and feeling pretty clever for it, but that's better. These kinds of tips and tactics with breakdowns of their execution, in slow-mo where appropriate, could really draw an audience. I've seen people do a "how to parry" series but they rarely cover all of the bosses that are ideal to do parries into and rarely show slow-mo or freeze frames, or how to use non-ideal parry weapons, which is a shame because certain bosses (Bell Bearing Hunter, Crucible Knight, Grafted Scion and Malenia to name a few) are way, way easier to handle via parry. - Well-edited montages or highlight plays, using good memes, sound tracks, and general emphasis for entertainment (not just putting music over the top of it, but actually cutting it together).This guy's content is a great example - it's a bit meme heavy for my own tastes, but you can read all the love he gets in his comments, and he has a pretty disproportionate engagement/view/like ratio because he's serving a portion of the community interests which hasn't been met. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJ3WZJyhh9SefZY&ab_channel=DiabloDex He also posts quite infrequently, which is probably a mixture of him being busy with life, the fact you have to play a decent bit to get all these clips, and the fact that editing it is even more work. Which gets into another takeaway - don't be afraid to do an upload every week or two if it's quality content. Basic tutorials can be found all over the place - "How to find" can be found with an interactive map, a YT video hyperlink with a timestamp and a written walkthrough using screenshots, all without even leaving Fextralife. I wish you all the best and I'll be subscribing to see how it goes =) I'm always stoked to see new content creators getting into Elden Ring, if only because it's probably gonna be ages before we get a new game or DLC (I'm not really counting Nightreign since that's something very different than the game itself).

Thank you for taking the time to right such detailed thoughts. Very happy to meet you and give you my thoughts back as to what I'm making here and hopefully in time I'll make stuff that's of interest to you too: First up, as I mentioned on the other post from you: Whilst this channel is new, my Elden Ring content is not. I made quite a few guides on my main channel. There's 160 videos on Elden Ring here: kzbin.info/aero/PLgh5B3TtCBuqs_TjOTIKAMcOSoJ2cwf0g - The best of which had over 800K views. My main channel has covered many games and as a result it's got a very varied subscriber base (58K). This has caused a problem in that my subscribers aren't all interested in one game. So when I post a video on one game, only a small portion of the subscribers will show interest in it. This is now causing an issue because KZbin now takes that as a signal that the video must be bad because the subscribers of the channel aren't watching it. It's not bad, it's just I'm covering too many games on that channel. So my idea was to make dedicated channels on my most popular games and ask subscribers to come check out the new channel. That'll take time to convince them to come over. I get your point about loads of content being out there all over the place. But that's the problem. It's all over the place at varying quality. People spend many wasted hours watching content that's popular, but doesn't even answer the question because the route's been patched. The other issue is whilst you and I are fine with text based learning, many people struggle with text and much prefer video. From a personal view, my video hardware and editing knowledge is now much better than what it was two years ago. Whilst I'm proud of the views my videos have got, I know I can do those videos to a higher standard now. Another key point about Elden Ring is updates. What worked 2 years ago may not work now. Often Rune Farms are patched or quest lines slightly adjusted. So me playing through again is me making sure everything is working in the latest update. So on to content. I have tried content like your suggestions before and it's never got me many views. But that may be because the channel was too diverse on games before. Part of moving to a dedicated channel for Elden Ring is so I can try content that is a little more niche / advanced but hopefully of some interest to the subscriber base. Another point about the content I'm making initially is I'm trying to help beginners get into the game. Elden Ring still confuses a lot of new players. And feedback I've had on my other channel is they hate having to search all over the web for answers. They like learning from a few trusted sources. I hope to be one of those in time. As regards the specific content you suggested. Thank you for this. The issue is always how will this be discovered and how many people are searching for it? I've not had requests for such advanced tutorials on hit mechanics against certain bosses before. I am not sure if there are that many players who play at that level. The masses seem to like focusing on completing the game, exploring places and collecting stuff. But sure, I can test such videos at some point. As regards entertaining playthroughs with editing. The issue as you mention is editing time. Such videos take many hours to make. If only 10 people watch it, it's pointless. I've lost count of how many times I've tried this with various angles and ideas. You basically need to build these up over time and have a very engaged subscriber base to prove to KZbin that it's worth pushing the video out to wider audiences. But I'm not saying I won't do this. I just need to build up a following first so KZbin trusts the content. Hopefully this makes some sense on what I'm trying to achieve here. Creativity and more advanced content will come. It's just such a huge game to try and cover well. This said, I've now made over 100 videos in the space of a month. Pretty good progress. Give it 6 months and I think the channel will be shaping up rather well. I'm mixed whether to start mixing in advanced content while I'm building the core content. I'll ponder on that. Thanks again for taking the time to help me develop this.

@@GrubmagnetRing @GrubmagnetRing No problem, and thank you for taking the time to answer all of this. In order to stop us from dividing any conversation between the two posts, I'm gonna bring up a couple things that are mostly applicable to the first video I commented on before deciding to investigate your channel more here. Sorry about that, by the way. I really should have done more due diligence investigating - had I looked at your channel's uploads and your pinned "Why This Channel" video on your homepage, it would have answered a lot of things I was curious about rather than making you take the time to answer it. That's my bad. Addressing what you brought up: "People spend many wasted hours watching content that's popular, but doesn't even answer the question because the route's been patched." Very little has been patched that would impact fundamental things (where to go for items, rune farms). The quality and impact of certain things has definitely been patched - Flame of the Redmanes used to be a 2-3 cast poise break, Bloodhound's Step used to have its full i-frames and travel distance on each of subsequent casts, colossal weapons used to struggle a great deal for a lack of a fast attack they could do until the crouch-R1 was made into a quickly executed move. Most of the changes are small idiosyncrasies, but for advice aimed at new players, everything still more or less does what you'd think at a glance from release, with most of the changes being QOL. I think one of the few things that straight-up doesn't work so far in terms of routes is the ability to drink an exploding physik while falling down the elevator from the Divine Bridge Site of Grace to access Leyindell early. That one was amusingly patched out like a month prior to me deciding I wanted to try it as a sequence break for the first time xD "From a personal view, my video hardware and editing knowledge is now much better than what it was two years ago. Whilst I'm proud of the views my videos have got, I know I can do those videos to a higher standard now." As a perfectionist, entirely sympathize with the idea of "I could do this so much better now." Indeed, part of me having 2000 hours in Elden Ring is that phenomenon of doing a playthrough, and then doing more or less the same playthrough but better, because I want to take what I learned in one journey and apply it on a redo. "Another point about the content I'm making initially is I'm trying to help beginners get into the game. Elden Ring still confuses a lot of new players. And feedback I've had on my other channel is they hate having to search all over the web for answers. They like learning from a few trusted sources. I hope to be one of those in time." This is definitely a big sticking point for a lot of people. In that vein (sort of in response to the other video), I might suggest doing similar content to what you're doing, but in chapters and aggregating it. What I mean there, is that rather than uploading a video on where to get JUST the Oridys's Rise Memory Stone, upload one on a route that takes you to all the Memory Stones and the intermediary steps to do it, which would cover how to quickly get the Dectus Medallion. That sort of comprehensive approach would, I think, also represent novel and rarely seen content, while being more tailored towards new players. It'd also be something that uses a relative minimum of editing. Getting all memory stones does require beating Loretta, Red Wolf, and the Demihuman Queen, but the nice thing about a video like that is people could refer back to it when they're in the respective areas, it gives them a head's up as to where to find all stones so they know not to miss those areas, and they can always skip things that don't apply to them if it's laid out neatly as chapters. I also think people are more likely to search "where to find memory stones" and get your video rather than using the actual in-game name for a single place. I do think (happily) that you're right about new people starting it though, my feed has been populated lately with uploads of people with videos titled things like "Elden Ring first playthrough two years late." More anecdotally, I'm definitely getting summoned at low level when leveling characters by people who are clearly new players :) "As regards the specific content you suggested. But sure, I can test such videos at some point." This is fair. If as a niche you want to appeal more to people who are outright new, rather than detailed breakdowns for people who have the basics and want to improve further, I get it. I do think that's more saturated, but I also think it's possible to form a brand and consistency in your videos that sees people coming to you anyways as their one-stop shop for getting started in the way you're talking about. I do think there's a nice meeting point where you can field test those kinds of videos, which are things like uploading a video on how to fight the Grafted Scion or Crucible Knight, both enemies that are encountered very early on. In particular, killing the Scion is one of those things that anyone wanting to see if they can Get Good can do that feels awesome to pull off, and can be done with any class, so there's overlap between your intended audience and the one I'm proposing.

Having been there from the start as a viewer of a few channels for a few different games that rose from nothing to being big in their communities: this stuff is thankless at first. If you want to engagement max and average consistent views, this isn't it. The people who do well with this kind of edited content view it as art and pour their soul into things from the start. With that said, it doesn't stay thankless - these things, in my experience seeing the channels grow, get nonlinear engagement that guide and tutorial content simply doesn't. Viewership accrued with this kind of edited content tends to see people watch the whole video, stop what they're doing to get in on every upload, engage with comments, and noticeably, come back to the videos well after their relevance has passed. I STILL see people watching Rav's LoL videos for their comedy, Zwag's LoL montages, and Cobrak's Warlock in WoW, even though the game is only superficially similar and something like half of the mechanics on display have changed drastically. These things have a theatrical and artistic angle to them that makes them, in a way, timeless. They stop being infotainment or tutorials and become a valid media independent of the game itself, where the game acts as a kind of shared touchstone more than something that needs to be a direct interest (Randovend's Elden Ring gank cheese videos often have people posting who stopped playing Elden Ring, same with Rav's LoL videos or Cobrak's WoW videos). It builds an audience, and a passionate one willing to follow people from project to project (Rav pivoted from LoL to WoW Classic and Cobrak from WoW to Final Fantasy while basically keeping his viewerbase). With that said, there's definitely concerns to be had about it, and it has to be something where your passion shines through. There's nothing wrong with having the attitude that taking the time to edit your gameplay into something theatrical simply isn't something you're about. I don't think I could do that. I don't think most people could. But that's why it gets appreciation. "Hopefully this makes some sense on what I'm trying to achieve here. Creativity and more advanced content will come. That is a fucking wild upload schedule and you have my admiration for that, no joke. Regardless of how this Elden Ring project of yours turns out, that's legitimately impressive, and don't let success or failure in this new endeavor ever take that from you. I do tend to think that implies you'll find success, if only because it's a work ethic and readiness to create lots of things that is required to do well at almost anything. "A master has failed more times than the beginner has tried" is a time-worn adage, but it's worth remembering. That kind of output tells me you're trying. "Thanks again for taking the time to help me develop this." No problem, and thank you for the opportunity to talk to someone in the unique position of developing a new channel, but who also has had success with creating an existing large channel. That's a rather rare position to get to talk to someone in; most of the creators making new channels are, well, new creators making new channels, so few of them have experience on how videos usually do, making lots of videos, or having a large existing audience. It's an interesting POV for someone to bring. The people who have that usually are saturated with comments and don't have time to talk to one person :) I'm always happy to help, though. I'm not really creative in the usual sense, but I get a lot of pride and passion from helping make other people's ideas shine as much as possible, be it as an editor, a coach, a playtester or a reviewer. If you ever want substantive feedback on something, especially if you can grandfather it in that my sometimes clinical descriptions aren't meant to be cold or detached, I usually do an alright job ^_^

Thanks again for the thoughts. Re patches I've seen several things change. Various routes have been blocked to try and reduce shortcuts to certain items like top smithing stones. I've also had reports of certain items no longer being available from certain merchants. Various rune jumps have also been blocked. Sure key items are still where they were, but I still want to cover them. Even now, there is still stuff I missed in my preivous playthroughs that people want. I also enjoy the querys you get from players interacting on the channel. Like Janet on my channel asked about how to find the Sacred Blade Ash. So I made a video on it. Then another person chipped in and said they found that useful. Someone else said there's a top sword you get later on in the game that's like that. So it's nice to get that conversation going. What you'll notice is unusual about me is I tend to reply to every constructive comment and I try to add what people want to see if I can. Over time, this ends up building a nice channel where we build a nice community and content people want to watch. Re single, longer videos on getting all of something. I am intending to make long montages when I've got the smaller videos done. Based on my previous channel, some people want just one item, some want them all. Both serve a purpose. Elden Ring is difficult to show complete videos all in one go as you have to unlock most of the game to do so, which takes many hours and sometimes you have to cover one step many hours before the next step. Regarding the niche content. It is something I do want to look at, but most likely when the channel is bigger. It depends also what you want from the game. Personally I enjoy the exploration aspect of the game rather than taking down an enemy with pure timing skill. But others like the skill side of things too, like yourself. That's one of the things I like about the game. It caters for various playstyles. Naturally, I will try and add content to make all subscribers as happy as I can, but I can only do what I know and I only have so many hours in the day :)

Thanks for the further thoughts. I totally appreciate the entertaining playthrough process. It's very hard work to break into, but if you do you can get some crazy viewing numbers. I will probably test it at some point, but first up I want a solid base of guides. I am debating trying some shorts with a bit of humour as a tester. Making people laugh is great. But it's hard to do it consistently. Thanks for the kind thoughts on output level. I am confident I can make this channel a success. Perhaps that's a bit too confident, but hey I have a fairly sucessful channel already with a lot of Elden Ring players subscribed to that. The game is still well played and given its success, we'll likely see more DLCs occur in time. I think I can bring something useful to the table. A lot of useful Elden Ring content all on one channel, all recorded to a decent standard. You're very welcome for the replies. I value detailed thoughts. Don't worry about things seeming cold sometimes. It's often hard to read tone in writing. But I totally appreciate you're trying to help me build something of value to fans of the game. I will do my best to build something great here. I'll crack on with more and I look forward to your thoughts as this channel grows.

Was this video uploaded as a response to a viewer request? No offense meant, I'm sincerely asking, mostly because this is a tip on where to find and how to get an important key item that's encountered in the first few hours of play on an enormously popular game that's been out for over two years now. Part of why videos show up in my feed like this is that I make a point of clicking on lesser-known content creators and trying to interface with their channel to help draw visibility towards people who might otherwise get missed in the algorithm, so please take this as a good faith question o.o No attempt to flame or shit on you.

Thanks for the thoughts. It's frustrating when KZbin puts targetted keyword videos up randomly, but I suppose it has some use in that players of the game may discover a new creator. Whilst this video is not of interest to a Elden Ring veteren, perhaps the channel will be eventually as it develops. I'll reply more to your longer post in a moment, but basically this is a long term project to remaster all my old guides I made 2 years back and add more. My hardware is much better and I also wanted to create a dedicated Elden Ring channel which solely covers this game. My main channel covers many games, and KZbin seems to be changing so if a video doesn't resonate well with subscibers that look at it, then it's not pushed further. In my main channel's case, only around 15% of my 58,000 subscribers are Elden Ring players, so any new content isn't of interest to the bulk of subscribers. I am trying to get that 15% to come subscribe to this new channel, but that's tough work! On my old channel, my best guide video has had over 800,000 views: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJnCfKuvZpuJibc. Whilst it's a solid video, the sound and video quality isn't as good as what I can do now. So why the beginner stuff? Well my old channel still gets a lot of views on the early type videos and beginners still seem to be coming to the game. The intention here is to create one channel that gives most of what you need to play and develop a good build. As I'm sure you are aware, there are countless guides out there, but the video quality is often ropey with no commentary. On here, everything will be at the same standard. It'll take some time, but I think it'll be worth it eventually.
