I just gave up on this. In a few missions you get a bulletproof patriot and I just need to get this friggin Turismo race without getting my ass blown up lol Very awesome video though, I love all the commentary

Got it all the way in the garage, and a clandestine cop arrested me. Guy drove in the water unmitigated 3 times in a row. Then more deaths and destruction lol shoulda done the Turismo achievement before killing Salvatore. It's the only thing I need for 100%! Lol

@@KyronAlison this is an old video, I was playing on an iPad 3, and when the score got that high, the game just started glitching out. I lost all my sound at some point. I think this was like I said a long time ago, though.

I know this is an old video KZbin age wise, but I found this method & special Bobcat to be just as relevant in the GTA Definitive Edition. I was able to obtain this special Bobcat & had no issue keeping it through the rest of the game. Just needed to do regular manual saves to avoid losing the pickup. Some missions will make you use a designated vehicle, which makes your choice of vehicle disappear. Through extensive use of the Bobcat, I found it to be quite crash resistant, not 100% crash proof. It's 100% bulletproof & explosion proof. Explosion proof as in gernades or rocket launcher have no impact on it, but it will explode if flipped upside down, if ran into by a Rhino tank or with lots of crash damage that will eventually cause it to start on fire & explode.

@@_MjG_ I’m really glad this helped! I also did try it out on the definitive edition version of GTA III. I can’t remember if the bulletproof bobcat disappeared from my garage in a subsequent save or not. I know that the original game before DE would have the tendency to remove my bulletproof vehicles, including the bulletproof cheetah which I also made although that’s a lot easier Can you explain to me what you mean by doing missions and stuff with the bobcat? Maybe explain what you mean about how to keep it from disappearing from the garage. It seems like you were talking about doing regular missions with it if I’m not mistaken.

@@ChiroVette I did use the special vehicle Bobcat for a select few missions. There was a few missions that were made significantly easier using that Bobcat because of it being bulletproof & it seemed to take a lot of crash damage before starting on fire. In quite a few missions, no matter what vehicle you use at the start of the mission, it would disappear because of the game forcing you to use a certain vehicle to do the mission & when you finish the mission far away from the starting location, it would disappear. I played GTA 3 to 100% without any special vehicles, immediately followed by playing again with the bulletproof Cheetah & Bobcat. I didn't notice any difference as far as the game trying to take those special vehicles away. I saved the game every 2 or 3 missions in the next slot available of the 8 save slots available. So don't just keep overwriting the same slot. That way if you notice something wrong like a special vehicle disappearing, you can go to an earlier save & you won't lose very much progress. I would just check every couple of saves to make sure my special vehicles were still all in the garage. In 2)100% playthroughs I noticed just 1 time that my bulletproof Patriot disappeared from a garage, but it wasn't a big deal to me because I had been saving the game regularly. I just went back to my last save where I still had the bulletproof Patriot & very little progress was lost. On my next 100% playthrough, none of my 3 special vehicles dissappeared.

lol That's funny. Truth is, I think most people drive a lot different in a game than real life...though, sometimes drivers here in Brooklyn seem to drive like they're playing a videogame, so you might be onto something. 🤣

Noobs don't know to do the mission before the mafia start one hit shotgun shelling them. Their need has nothing to do with driving ability. I know am failing early. That said, I was why not give the defective edition, from Netflix on my phone, a try 😣. I really hope idiots don't pay $19.99 each for defective edition on mobile. R* ganked the other 💩 $6.99 mobile to not work controller to try and get people to pay again! I'm using a controller, but the controls don't feel right. I remember just dancing around the scripted traffic intervention, but now it feels like rigged obstruction that gets into place when of it has to speed jerk itself into place. Even when I'm not doing much damage, the sentinel, not the banshee, the sentinel is catching on fire, wtf - are they more fragile and than OG? I don't know if it's the controls, the 6.5" screen, differences between defective & OG, apparently the new mobile is stuck at 30 fps, although it's not like console was 60fps, so that shouldn't matter 🤷🏽♀️ I'm going to boot up on emulation for a comparison. I recall liking this mission, but it's a pita on defective mobile. I'm probably going to save a cheetah just to have one. I'd like to win without exploits, though

I'm sure you won't respond to a 12 year old video, but when you lose it in your garage, is it the staunton garage or a different one? I feel like the Staunton Garage is the least trust worthy Garage.. I've lost a few cars there over the years.

Actually, correct me if I am wrong, but Claude Speed can actually make the bullet, fire, explosive Cheetahs into even damageproof, by duplicating the Taxi Driver submission through it. Once initiated, pick up any fare, instead of rolling on over to said destination, drive on over to the junkyard near 8•Ball's Bomb Shop, blocking the driver side door to the crusher, exit the Cheetah by passenger side, before the metal magnetic crane picks up the Cheetah, immediately get back in forcefully by passenger's side while holding the canceling Taxi Driver toggle mission, but don't let go yet of holding it, pull the passenger out of it, get back in the car, the magnet will automatically drop the car, due to a person in it, let go of the toggle mission button, the Taxi Driver mission is cancelled, but this is not where the fun ends. Your Cheetah is now completely a ghost car, making it indestructable. However, do not & I repeat DO NOT get out of the car in this state or let anybody at all pull you out! Otherwise, the car is unenterable & you will have to start over once again! Also, the more you drive it, periodically, the bigger it relatively, if what slowly, gets, due to the natural constructional impact between of that & the crusher, but was postponed due to the player iniating said crusher bug. Fall through the floor in limbo land to fix said crusher bug, but if you want to stop falling through it, just hold onto the reverse & handbrake button & you should be fine. Just drive slowly & to make it solid, just drive in any garage of your choice. You can even drive through walls, buildings, cars, gate etc. thus you can go to Staunton Island & or even Shoreside Vale, before even the Shoreside Lift Bridge is reconstructed & even before the first mission, but be very careful not to obviously fall in water. Drive in any garage to make it solid. The garages somehow make it damage proof. Also, whatever you do, please for the love of God, take my advice, do not & I repeat DO NOT SAVE YOUR GAME AFTER YOU FAILED TO DUPLICATE THE TAXI DRIVER MISSION WITH ANOTHER CAR, OR ELSE! OTHERWISE, YOU WILL PERMANENTLY DISABLE THE TAXI MISSION FOREVER, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO DO THEM! If you do, you better start over fresh! It's the only way to fix it, besides actually attempting to be trying to be fixing the corrupted data error! Don't say, I didn't warn you, for you have been warned! I'm actually serious about this, because it happened to me & it seriously pissed me off, because all that hard work, gone, ya know? I was back to square one, but now I collected everything, completed almost everything & currently beating the original Grand Theft Auto III 100% clean before I move on to the 10 Year Anniversary Edition, the prototype to what I'll be moving onto after that;The Definitive Edition! I am playing through the Remastered version of this game for the first time. Historically, I have always played the OG version. If you are playing the remastered, that may be why. It definitely feels to me like dives aren't getting the kinds of insane points racking up as they used to in the original version. But that is just anecdotal evidence, since I didn't do a direct comparison, and haven't played the original game in a few years. However, it sure seemed like the game was a little cheap with the money for my dives.

LOL I love how the game glitched a little and gave you a dive that immediately wins you the minigame. It definitely took a little longer for me but I managed to beat it now in the Remaster 10 years after you uploaded this video. I was ready to give up trying, so thank you!
