i use a pr of SR112's in my man cave with 11 other home hifi spkrs on a Marantz 2275 & they really augment the immersive/detailed soundstage.40 yrs old approx they still perform like new! They are so efficient I had to use a stereo L-pad to blend them in.The 1975 M95ED cartridge on a Marantz 6300 still provides wonderful sonics after 50 yrs!

It's designed for PC and Mac specifically, but you can try using it with a mobile device. Some users say it works fine. Others have mixed results.

They talk about putting an angle on the dipole's but should we put the directional antenna's (except for the helical ofcourse) at an angle too? Another question, what if you HAVE to have 4 antenna's, two directional for receivers, one directional for IEM on stage but then one more omnidirectional for the tech IEM pack (since they're behind the antenna), what is best practice regarding positioning?

When setting up multiple antennas, including directional and omnidirectional types, positioning is key. Check out our wireless antenna guide for more details: www.shure.com/en-US/insights/wireless-systems-and-antenna-placement

we have properly remove the 1/4 wave and mount it with a ground plane plate of the same size of the receiver box and works perfectly fine no loss at all, again as long as we use a ground plane and limit the length of the wire to less of 100ft

People really need to understand how loud a CNC milling machine is to really understand the value of the shotgun mic demo given in the factory. They are LOUD. Like you can't hear yourself speak at the distance he was at.

Shure BLX14/B98 T11 Lavalier same problem. Loud hiss even with the awkward transmitter dial turned to maximum. My Røde Newsshooter set is much quieter, as is a cheapo 5.3 GHz plug-in set. Working but unsatisfactory.

Love the SM58. I was using an Audio Technics microphone that cost 3 times what the SM58 costs for several years. Decided to try out a SM58 and it is now the only microphone I use. It is everything a vocal microphone needs to be and nothing less.

I would like to ask if Cue Mode still exists do the packs have a mode where I can sync multiple transmit channels to it so I can select thru the channels with the pack directly this was a lifesaver on PSM1000 for an engineer/tech to walk or to hear a specific mix without having to change cue mixes on the console the other benefit of cue mode was being able to walk out to a position during soundcheck to hear the frequency that the artist is hearing for potential problems that you may not hear standing at the desk.

The device is great, but a huge miss opportunity for a wider audience, this need to be compatible with ios and android devices, this is perfect for solo livestreams on any social network. The 48v options should be physical and not in software, that’s bad, also a gain dial will be perfect for the next version. I’ll be waiting for the next version.

My very expensive Scar 17 SE can't record with it. So no Digital Audio Workstation detects it. I was able to make it work in Audacity. Shure Dynamic Microphones are terrible. They don't deliver the Higher Frequencies, but I like the PG42 USB even if these incompatiblity issues drive me crazy. The Sound Quality is Perfect and there's like, ZeRo Noise level.

Have question, my church “before my time” bought this model as a single, plus a 2 pack. But only used the original 1 pack and 1 of the 2 pack. We are having what sounds like RFK interference and audio cutout on the pastors headset. I decided to try the receiver unit that was still in the box, when I did this and repair with the transmitter I had to turn my audio board sq-5 down from 48 to 36 to prevent feedback. The new setup was significantly louder. The old transmitter was set at -4db and the new is set at 0db. I had not noticed the transmitter db setting making that much of a difference. Any clue what may be going on, why so much louder? This Sunday I will see how the new setup sounds for my pastor.
@shure
@shure 4 ай бұрын
It could be a number of things. If the root issue is RF interference, the new receiver might be picking up a clearer signal or less interference, thus allowing it to perform with less attenuation. Different firmware versions may also cause discrepancies. Make sure that both units are running the same firmware version and that all settings are matched as closely as possible. If you have additional questions, please reach out to our Support Team at shu.re/contact.

Can these be monitored on wireless headphones? Or does it have to plugged into that little jack to monitor any audio being recorded on the mic? Thank you :) Things sometimes get REALLY messy with internal audio, and all the audio going on... so I really need something that CAN monitor what I'm saying. I currently use a dynamic mic hooked up to the Apogee Quartet, and while the audio recording is amazing, I can't for the life of me every monitor anything from the audio interface's headhphones output while recording a mic to the computer via these modern streaming or podcasting apps. I can monitor just fine with the audio interface headphone output in Logic Pro though. The only way I can monitor trying to record audio via my audio interface, for use cases like streaming or podcasting via modern apps, is plugging in my headphones to my Macbook Pro's headphone output. 1. Does that monitoring jack you mentioned work for sure, with any headphones whose cable can go in there? 2. Is there a way to monitor what's being recorded via the mic via wireless headphones? 3. If I plug my headphones in there like in your video, will it monitor just what I'm saying on the mic, or the entire computer audio including what my guest on a podcast is saying (because without that it's pointless). Thank you! :)
@shure
@shure 4 ай бұрын
1. Yes, it should work with any wired headphones. 2. Possibly, but you'd have to configure your PC / Mac audio settings to designate your wireless headphones as an ouput device. Be aware that there may be latency issues when using Bluetooth. 3. You can monitor anything you like. Using the MOTIV Mix app will help you balance levels from multiple sources.
