I’ve just changed mine but the belt will only ride halfway on the motor pulley. The old belt must have been the same as it had split down the middle, I can’t see any way of adjusting anywhere?

Not been funny here but as a professional driver I can honestly say I’ve never got myself into this situation at all & that’s with over 30 international driving. Beyond me HTF they get themselves into such messes!!🤔🙄
@MultiSandman7Ай бұрын
I have to go a lot places like this. When you haven’t there before do your research get it on google earth and google maps along with your HGV satnav and try to contact the collection point or speak to a driver that has been there before

As usual people would rather film some one than help them and funny thing is most the numptys that slate hgv drivers cant even drive a bloody car days of helping people are gone everyone thinks of themself and happy to see people fail how sad can you be try helping instead of holding a phone.

I would of thought that they would have a programmed sat nav especially for HGV vehicles so that you could select either class 1, 2, or HGV class 3 so that the driver could drive safely dodgeing narrow roads & unexpected low bridges for use in the UK & quite possibly even other countries, a sort of in built or portable auto lorry safe navigator, (a.l.s.n.).
@waynenash6008Ай бұрын
I love the comments,, i passed my class one 1988,, first job, was delivering prefab concrete garages to home's,, four a day,, 40 ft flat trailer,, a long reverse after a delivery,, especially in the southwest was a common occurrence,, no satnavs,, use a map to get there and ask a postman,, just part of the job,,

Shame you seem to think I’m having a dig ! But the video title was meant as a bit of advice! And most people have commented on how they always check a route and never totally trust sat nav and other navigation apps! If I was a new driver to the industry and someone in the company showed me this, then it would certainly make me think ahead. Especially driving to the West Country, i.e. Devon , Cornwall.

Unfortunately hgv drivers have to go to small remote places Inc farms ect. This would have been a normal day probably to him. Try and do it yourself, or maybe help him out. What a brilliant human being you must be.

As I explained to someone else who jumped to the same conclusion! There were so many people supposedly trying to help! that the poor fella didn’t know which way to look !! Sometimes less is more! And as for doing it myself! Europe, UK , Bulking at 44t, fridge, containers, multi drop. Qualified CPC national, CPC international. Not sure if mummy or daddy ever mentioned that you should never assume anything, but always check , especially if you’re going to make a comment and insult someone!!

Sat navs are very good but you got to use common sense. I always go with my gut and if it starts ringing alarm bells then probs best to try for a better route. If there isn’t one then it’s tuff it’s going back to the depot. Better to waste a few quid on a re deliver than needing to be recovered !

Then I take it you don't deliver much in Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Somerset,, transport office must love you!

The usual 7.5 t except for access, along with a width restriction warning and two not suitable for long vehicle signs. Unfortunately, I think panic took over as he got further and further down the lane!
