I use them on a drz400 and love them. Would work on a heavier bike, very stiff sidewall. I run 22 psi front; 18 rear for all surfaces usually.

Seem decent enough. I’ve never ran that low of psi tho. They may suck at like 15-18 psi

perfect conditions to make you hate your stock dual sport tires
@ghostlight694204 жыл бұрын
Do you think this would work well on a Honda XR650L? Mainly pavement, dirt roads and hardpacked trails. I don't usually go faster than 65 mph but it is a heavyish bike. How is this tire in sand and mud?
@erichgoodemote11584 жыл бұрын
So how did you like the tusk duel sport tire
@EnduroJeff4 жыл бұрын
Right now at under $100 for the pair, it's a great cheap D606. If they were actually wanting the price they list as MSRP at 99 bucks per tire, then I would say it's a slightly shittier version of the D606. Overall the tire is good, I was able to do the hard off road things with it with no complaints, then I was able to blast the freeway home at 80+mph without a single care. I am happy that it does well at not slipping off of wet logs or rocks, though I do run 5 PSI. My biggest concern with them before I got them was that they would have no grip on the wet stuff, but they do alright. I must say that I am VERY happy with this tire purchase! Dual sport is all about compromise, these tires were under 100 bucks for both, they can do the freeway, and they were adequate off road. Did they perform as well off road as my dedicated non DOT hybrid tires, no. But I was able to ride on the same trails with out any major issues, and I was able to blast the freeway to get there.

Ok thanks ,I have a xcf-w 300 road legal ,and do some off road ,and fire roads ,so it should work good,Thanks
@EnduroJeff4 жыл бұрын
@@erichgoodemote1158 I don't know about putting these on a 2T, that seems a little weird to me. I push 80+ MPH for many minutes at a time on my KTM 500. That is why I need these more road worthy dual sport tires. Do you do a lot of longer street riding? If not, I would go with something else. On my KTM 350 that is primarily for off road, but I still will run freeway for a few exits. I use the Tusk Recon hybrid tire in the rear, and the Shinko MX216 fatty in the front. This front tire is actually DOT, the rear is not, but it holds up well enough on the street for a hybrid tire.

How do you think theses tires would work on heavier bike like a KLR 650?
@EnduroJeff4 жыл бұрын
If you would run the D606 then these will work the same. I found they were actually much stiffer while installing vs the D606, though they weren't too hard to install.
@richardramos97992 жыл бұрын
On 2nd set on 06 KLR, work great, wear well, run 18 to 22 lbs pressure.

What did you think of these tires and what size are you using?
@EnduroJeff4 жыл бұрын
I have the 120/90-18 in the Rear and the 90/90-21 in the Front. So far I like these tires, I only have the 1 ride on them though. They are basically a cheap set of D606. For a regular non-race pace, I was moving about as quick as I usually do with my full on dirt tires. So I didn't feel like the tires were holding me back at the pace I was going. I did notice that I was just about at the limit of traction for the front on the corners though. I think you would start to have a harder time if you were trying to go any faster than what I was doing in the vid. The D606 might be a little bit better all around, but not by enough to make them worth it, as they are nearly double the price. I wanted the most aggressive tire I could get that I would not feel bad about blasting hours of freeway on, and I wanted them to be cheap. So far these are a perfect match. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they wrapped around and gripped the wet rocks and roots. I usually ride woods with Hybrid tires. My biggest concern with getting these was that they would be a hard compound and would slip out on the wet stuff, but these did very well.

Is this big good for enduro riding? Is it too heavy?
@EnduroJeff5 жыл бұрын
It wont beat a KTM, but it wont get left too far behind. For a bike that can drone freeway all day/year, that's pretty good. It's right on the edge of how heavy you would want a bike that you plan on dropping once or twice every time you ride.

It's a Ken Sean mirror, It mounts using the stock mount on the clutch perch. If you use an RSC clutch perch, you can buy a 10MM 7/8" Universal Motorcycle Black Aluminum Handlebar Mirror Mount Clamp X2 off amazon, and just use the half with the mirror mount on it with the clutch perch.

No just d606 and Mt21 tires, handlebars, and pegs. Not in this video but more recently I switched to rim locks and heavy tubes to run lower PSI. In this vid I was at stock PSI. I have another WR that I modded, and I prefer stock for offroad.
