It's a bit unfortunate that you can't power from an external source, only charge.
@ZacoBroКүн бұрын
Yeah that’s one of my personal gripes with it, in my use cases with all the NPF & V-Mount batteries I have it is a shame that none of them can power the light. It would have been nice to have the option
@pashagoonКүн бұрын
@@ZacoBroWe still do get the 60W and 100W output without any external source right?
@ZacoBroКүн бұрын
@pashagoon correct, the 100W Boost mode can still be activated with no need to plug anything else in. At 100% @ 60W the light will run for about 60 minutes. At 100%+ @ 100W the light will run for about 45 minutes. All off the battery.

Great points! I'm ALWAYS thinking that the music video must be cut, cut cut cut cut, (And this makes it tedious and DIFFICULT to conceptualize and shoot, thinking, "My God, I have to shoot like 1,000 different 2-second shots to fill a 4-minute song!") This is an EXCELLENT perspective!!! 😃👍 Thanks for this!!
@ZacoBroАй бұрын
In my opinion it all comes down to intention, fast cutting and over editing have their place in film but just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Sometimes it’s better to just let the scene breathe to get the full experience 😊

Vey well said! So many other music video directors over where i'm at do this for every single video. You explained so well why it's it's so important to match the style of the song itself so everything compliments each other. For sure takes away from it
@ZacoBroАй бұрын
Thank you! It’s important information that not only director/editors should know but artists too. If the content is being made for you, you should understand the process a little better so can see what you might be missing out on

What's the most over-the-top editing you've seen? Do you think it added to the video or took away from the song? 👀👇

It was from a KZbin channel that was active until about 8-10 years ago called The Key of Awesome. It is an American channel and the guy playing the New Zealander is an American called Tod Womack. You can still see their other content here on KZbin. A very funny and clever group.

great video bro - a great example of this right now would be Ice Spice. Had a huge 12 months of constant pressure on the industry with singles that were going massive, but when it came to dropping the album the marketing was wack and the tape was completely soulless If you’re an artist who wants to make a larger body of work instead of just dropping single after single, but don’t have the time or money to get a 10-12 tracklist project done - try shoot for a little 3-5 track EP instead
@ZacoBro2 ай бұрын
Sometimes bigger isn’t always better, EPs are a good substitute for albums when circumstances such as you mentioned prevent clear and consistent creative vision!

I have specifically done this, on august 30th I dropped my self produced album experience where all the songs, in specific order, carry you inside its own world, which feels like home. I dont care about money and stuff, I just want myself and people feel like we re on the same page. Go check out on my page if you interested. Meanwhile I subbed because I absolutely agree with you. 👍🏻

Moses and CV were never specifically named in this video, nor was any artist in particular. But going back to CV and Mo, they are doing a great job. They are both some of my most consistent and successful clients due to their drive and following the directions that I brought up in this video. They are great examples of what happens when you put in the work, and treat music like a business…which is the whole theme of this video 😊

What needs to change in the Australian music scene?
@KNWBDY.important2 ай бұрын
I'm from New Zealand. I think everyone needs to play their role. UK figured it out, don't worry about overseas. Build your own eco-system. Music Video channels like yours, performance based platforms (in aussies case, it'd be spaces like Mood On The Roof, HoodBars, Triple J, Late Night SONDR etc) get every artists to run the gauntlet making appearances on all of these platforms consistently and it'll create a digital vacuum and bring in new eyes/ears for the whole scene. Then everyone benefits. We have the same problem, artists that do pop off instantly just move to Ameruca and basically become wannabe Americans (Laroi, Azalea, Lorde) They generate enough buzz at gome until they can pi*s off overseas, rather then building at homebase and bring the attention with them. There's more to it but that's just my opinion right now.
