Today, Monday 23 day of December, 2024, Nissan announced a possible merger with Honda car division. Wonder how that will work out. Nissan was a part of Ford Motor Corporation at one point in time in the past. Wish they still are a part of Ford Motor Corporation.

I love those 521 series Datsun/Nissan trucks the very best. Wish they were still being manufactured by Nissan to this very day. They were good little trucks, very reliable, cheap on gas and tires, yet you could get a lot of work done with them when you needed work to get done with.

@@jasonsliger5430 I had a '73 Datsun 620 back in the early 90's... It pretty much sealed my fate for being a Nissan / Japanese vehicle owner from there. And I had a '77 Corolla before that, so... They're just good vehicles. Especially back then, when they were simple.

Wish I could have gotten a 521 series Datsun/Nissan truck when I was living in Murfreesboro Tennessee back in the middle 80's. I love the 521 series Datsun/Nissan trucks the very best.

I love these 521 series Datsun/Nissan trucks. Wish they were still being made in 2024 going into 2025. They were good, practical, well running little trucks that you could get a lot of work done with around the house with. Wish I could have gotten one of these when I was living in Murfreesboro Tennessee back in the middle 80's.

@@danbasta3677 I've owned several Datsun / Nissan vehicles through the years.. 620's, 720's 210's, Infinitis, etc, but... This is my first 521. The NHTSA has made it virtually impossible to build these type trucks anymore, as it wouldn't be cost effective to the manufacturers to get them to meet crash and safety standards. Same bureaucratic red tape b/s that killed trucks like the S-10 back in the day.

I had a1977 burnt orange I bought new.a king cab. It had factory air. I think that may have been the first year for factory air.however the air gave me trouble the whole time

Please don't put those hideous wagon wheels and thin tires on this beautiful truck, and please don't lower it to the ground, that looks totally ridiculous and totally silly looking.

@@danbasta3677 The wheels that are on it are just rollers off of an '86 Ram 50 I have. I'll be putting a set of bronze painted 2023, 17" Silverado wheels on it... I've put clips on them so they'll hold a set of poverty caps... it will be lowered, but... not a lot.

@@dalesmith112 What's the reason and the purpose of putting those hideous ugly wagon wheels and thin tires on this truck and lowering it to the ground. I don't get it as to why people take a beautiful looking little truck like this and ruin it in this way and in this manner. Simply just doesn't make any sense to me at all.

@@dalesmith112 These 620 series trucks came from the factory with 14 inch normal sized wheels and tires in it. Putting 17 inch rims on it is what I call wagon wheels and thin tires, it just doesn't look right.
