It's just a tray you can put dice in.

included with realms, or you can get tunnels expansion which is just those tokens. but you could use anything as a marker so tunnels is not worth paying for imo!..realms is worth it.

I know it’s a bit late now, but maybe this reply will help others. In the lower left/right of the cards, you will see either a sun/moon shard icon with a number. That icon tells you which side of the board and what slot that card goes into. One thing to note is that you may have options on which sets of cards to place into each slot. Some *slots* have multiple card set options. If this is your first time playing, place cards *without* the little blue dot *back in the box*. (Indeed, separate the cards with the blue dots from the ones that don’t, there are two slots in the insert for both sun and moon for that reason, I surmise.) That way you don’t have to worry about which set of cards to decide upon. Then just look at the icon costs in the lower corners to determine where the cards go. Also note that the artwork on the card will match the board’s artwork when you slot in the cards (orient the cards so the card effects are away from the board on all sides). As for putting the cards in the box, the insert helpfully has icons printed for sun-only, moon-only, and sun+moon cards.

Yes, I wanted to understand more of the wildlings game interactions. Examples of the types and circumstances of breaches, flooding lanes, using hero cards to defend against them as well.
