I watched him beat Matiasevich in his prime when was only 15 years old in Acapulco Sx. The most talented I've seen

I grew up with him also. His dad had a track built behind his house in Stockbridge for his birthday. His garage was full of new bikes all the time while I had one ratty bike always. But inside were trophy’s from all over. And one very cool lion rug hanging over the downstairs that he got from going to a race in Europe on 80s I always thought was cool. We got snowed in at his house for 4 days during the blizzard of 93. His mom stayed busy drying clothes that weekend lol. His dad worked on my bikes. He’s a great guy also.

Robbie had some issues with consistency and crashes-when he was "on" he may very well have been the fastest rider ever on two wheels, my stopwatch never lied. If he'd been able to work with some of the trainers of today-motivational/physical- we'd be speaking of his multi-championship career.

Very true I've said the same thing unfortunate to have some injuries in the highlight of one's career 🤘 not too many people can say they pulled away from Carmichael

that wasn't much of a battle for carmichael with him going out so much, and i've never seen guy's single through rythem sections so much, must be the difficulty of track and less power out of the 125's
