I enjoyed this video. I too am learning about this fruit. I knew of breadfruit the other variety but not this variety (breadnut). Im going to try experimenting like you. The only thing is that I'm vegan so I'll have to adapt your recipe somehow. I'm in the Dominican Republic.

It has a striking resemblance to jackfruit. Can the flesh of the fruit be eaten as well?

I was told just the nuts. The flesh seems pretty stringy but it could be a fun thing to try and see how it turns out!

Awesome! I'd love to learn about the roasting tips Ray gave you?! Cashews are so expensive to buy here, and I can see why. Lots of work, but oh-so-satisfying... Great video. 😊

Tip #1 was don't breath the smoke in! It's very toxic as your roasting so always do it outside and never stand too close to the smoke. Next year I want to make a roasting box that rotates so I can get a more even cook.

I was wondering what to call it as I saw some people say breadfruit and others breadnut but we have another fruit here called breadfruit that has no seeds and is delicious fried like in my crawfish video! I'm still learning about all these new fruits 🙂 I didn't know they grow in Fiji too
