Don’t want electric at all, some of the jeeps were catching on fire, I want a truck that’s powerful that’s easy to work on and a truck that’s going to last I don’t want to spend $10,000 to replace a hybrid battery etc. and have to carry all that extra weight just like in the jeep. A few steps backwards a little bit up old school would be better

why is the gas part a v6 and not a I4 or even a I3? The V6 seems to me to be overkill. If the idea is to charge the battery when it say hits 50% then it should be able to do so with a much smaller unit. If they are trying to run the truck on the gas motor using an electric drive train then maybe that is why its a v6
@bryanparnell93262 ай бұрын
I could see the increased power output being required for towing up long mountain grades. The 3.6 is also one of the most reliable motors in their lineup and the Ram already had frame provisions to mount it.

I did not take into an automated car wash, but the sturdyness of the tonneau cover would not be a problem. I was opening one up today at the Washington DC Auto Show. It's still a great little truck!

There's a yellow emergency pull under the bumper near the latch. Pull it and it will release the tailgate. Shut the tailgate and then the latch will work correctly. It's like a mechanical reset.
@Q4Cars Жыл бұрын
Sadly the actual connection to the latch had fallen off - and oddly no one noticed - It was fixed with some rubber bands and bread bag wire ties.

It looks like a 40's truck because the design was basically a civilian adaptation of the army's dodge pickup version, which itself was designed in 1938, the design was used until 1967, being used for over 25 years.

3 things my 2022 HPD RIDGELINE I wished it had: that the tailgate would lower slowly. I have looked for add-on devices to make that happen but no luck...#2 I wish the bumper would have foot step ons...It would handy loading or unloading...# 3 the interior instrument panel lights are nor bright enough even when turned up all the way..

So you showed us the problem but not how to correctly fix it?
@Q4Cars2 жыл бұрын
To correctly fix it you need to go to a dealer and buy a little part, which I did not have time for. So I used rubber bands and bread bag twist ties. That did the trick. You see that "hack" in the video.

Thinking about adding the brown finisher in my Pangea Green 90. I'll have a similar ebony interior to yours as well with an Ebony top because I'll be loading gear to the roof. Would you recommend the white cross beam or walnut finisher in an all ebony cabin to lighten things up? Or are you happy with the all black? I also noticed when you unlocked the door the side mirrors moved out. Is that a setting you can program? That would be swell as I live in the city. Thank you!

This baby had it all, I would go with the interior that make you feel the best, as you are going to be in it. - Sadly it was not my 90, it belongs to Land Rover, they just let me review it for a week. Glad you liked the video.

@@Q4Cars, wow, you really don’t get it do you? Oh well. You can’t say I didn’t try. BTW, I’m not “straight for cars” gay or straight, it has nothing to do with cars. I really couldn’t care less about a persons personal preferences in these matters. I am against anything that that try’s to draw distinctions like this, black, white, Hispanic, male, female, religious, non-religious, etc. etc. etc. these divisions do nothing to bring the human family together and unit us in a common cause. Drawing attention to our differences only tends to widen the chasm between us. I was raised to treat people like people, regardless of any individual characteristic. Drawing distinctions a,one people, I,HO, only breeds tribal divisions.
