Doesn’t visually show any knowledge, steps to take, and what to do. I didn’t click on this video to watch people load their fridges with food. Video tells some good tips- and doesn’t show how to do any of it. BAD video 👎

I would like to permanently disable the child lock . How can I do that? We are seniors and have no small children in the house. The child lock reactivates itself every time we use it. We have no need for it. We just purchased the microwave and this feature is VERY annoying.
@PressToCook24 күн бұрын
To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a way to permanently disable it. You can try holding the stop button for 3-5 seconds until the indicator goes off. It may reactivate after a while though....... Alternatively, it may be easier just to get a child to make proper use of the feature!

Never again. Total piece of junk. Are any Refridgerators, ovens, dishwashers, or microwaves made nearer to the USA?
@PressToCook24 күн бұрын
Try these, but (annoyingly so) only SOME models are made in the USA Whirlpool: Many of their dishwashers are made in Findlay, Ohio. Maytag: Owned by Whirlpool, they also produce dishwashers in the USA. KitchenAid: Another Whirlpool brand, with some models made in the USA. Frigidaire: Owned by Electrolux, they have manufacturing facilities in North Carolina. GE Appliances: While now owned by Haier (a Chinese company), they still manufacture some dishwashers in the USA, particularly in Louisville, Kentucky. Asko: While a Swedish brand, they have a manufacturing facility in Tennessee. Viking: Known for high-end appliances, they manufacture in Greenwood, Mississippi. Fisher & Paykel: While a New Zealand company, they have a manufacturing plant in Clyde, Ohio. Let us know what you end up with!

Try this..... Press the "Timer/Clock" button. Use the number pad or the +/- buttons to enter "88:88". Press "Start". The display should show "bP oF", indicating that the beep is off. Press "Stop/Cancel" to exit the setting mode.

Ok you have me flicking through the manuals. There are two ways (hopefully one of them will work! Ensure the microwave is plugged in and in standby mode (showing the clock). Press and hold the "Stop/Cancel" button for about 3-5 seconds. You should hear a long beep, indicating that the sound has been turned off. Release the button. If this doesn't work, try this alternative method: Press the "Clock" button. Set the time to "88:88". Press "Start". This should override the settings The display should show "bP oF", indicating that the beep is off. Press "Stop/Cancel" to exit the setting mode.
