Can I plug in the new flex and try to test the buttons before removing the glue? I'm afraid of trying to make the switch and the new flex doesn't work.

I am not sure as i lost that phone a long while back xD. It's mostly + phillips screws with a pretty thin head most phone screwdriver kits or drone/heli kits from kids toys will work.

I repaired the power button due to corrosion but did not went well..now I will replace the entire ribbon as you did. Thanks for giving the solution.👏😊👍

@@rehanasgar1668 if you visited site like maxbhi, yes it is fake listing , they will send you something else most probably, i've tried ordering screens off there. decent volume connector flex would be available for 200-500 rs depending on fabrication quality, better to wait till lockdown ends and not buy parts from sites that aren't able to make deliveries at this time.

If you live in a city where there is lockdown you may not be able to get the part right now, i had gotten it from amazon an year back but you can try contacting any shop in SP road , Bangalore after lockdown
