Had to cut them for a change😂 Yeah. I recently got a rig for acoustic set up, supposed to be for acoustic covers. But I landed a spot on an originals band which have heen my goal for a while, so I'd be ridin' live gigs for now. Might post some live clips once I get the time to edit. ✌️😁

Hi, I saw your other MPS850 video, because I ordered one finally (it will arrive today or tomorrow…) I only played on our drummer’s drum now and then and I like playing drums, but I am a guitar player. Over 20 years ago when I started, I was already a IT guy and never thought that a computer would do anything good for Hard Music or Metal. E drums sounded terrible and where the main reason I couldn’t stand Pop or Electronic Music. I hate th3 machine gun effect so hard like this Cher autotune effect common in HipHop and Dancefloor- I can’t stand these styles, like „Schlager“ in Germany.. What you play sounds rather good, but I assume you use some 3rd party sounds ? If not the better, then I will try it myself tomorrow. I didn’t know th3 band. I am not so into Metalcore anymore. Cheers.

Hi! Yeah I use a drum plug in, the free version of MT Power Drumkit. It's stock already sounds good, but I just tweaked it a bit on the built EQ of my DAW whoch is Reaper. I just basically made the cymbals a bit more dry, kick more punchy, and the snare more fat and deep. Other than that, it all sounds great considering all the softwares I use are free.

Your video is good BUT ... extra noises are much too loud compared to your speech. Advice: use a compressor or any normalisation volume probably available in your video software. That will increase the low level sounds and decrease the too high. Sincerely.

Hi bro. How did you get the hihat to be this responsive? My hihat is on and off. Adjusted the sens too. It sounds bad during faster open/close transition

Yeah. The trick is to hit it when it's actually open when you want an open sound and hit it again when it's closed (or in my case, I step on it hard to trigger it as closed sound) to make a "t-tsk" sound, if that makes sense. Before, I was used to an acoustic set where in you can hit the hihat right before you open it and it still makes an open sound. But in this case, it's almost like on and off only. So the timing will be slightly different. It's a matter of getting used to. Hope this helps.

Hi! When using a vst for live playing one great obstacle that you might encounter is the latency (this is normal) there are ways to lessen this or go near to zero latency but it will now depend on your computer RAM. Once you rigged your edrums into your computer with a VST. You might have to download ASIO4ALL app/program to use it as your driver it, helps lessen the latency and give you more accurate hits. One other factor that could improve the latency is the buffer size in the DAW so you might want to decrease it to 64 or even 32 if your computer can allow. Otherwise, if this still has an issue, you might have to upgrade your computer or load desired samples/drum sounds into the module to get rid of using a vst. Hope this helps! 🤘

Hi! The preset kits already have choke features on the cymbals, you just need to find the "right spot" to get the response you want, it's usually in the middle part of the edge of the cymbal pad, it's slightly thicker than the surrounding area. If still doesn't work, you can adjust the sensitivity in the module.

Love the vid man just bought this drum kit but I had a problem the high hat connects in to the wall via a 9 volt adapter I was wondering were does the other end of the cable go because one connects to the controller while the other one connect but in the manual it says to connect to the DC IN I don’t know where that is. It would be a HUGE help if you could show me the wiring for the high hat and where all of the wires connect 👍👍👍

Thanks man! Sorry for the late reply hope you're sorted, but if not, I hope this will help. So, when you see the connector from the main dc output from the module, it will lead to a split connection, one of the connection goes to the adapter and one goes to the hihat controler. This will power the controler as well as the module when you plug it in. I hope this helps 🙏

Thank you kind sir! 🙏 Half the time I struggle in learning grooves of certain songs, so I compromise by incorporating my own grooves at the level of my comfortable skill set and see what comes out. Thankfully some people appreciates it 😂
