Jeremy is the most laid back person i have ever spoke with in logistics

2 - 40' Containers = 80' there is absolutely no way you will fit this on a 53' flat and 3 40' containers will never fit on 2 - 53 Flats. lol Did you think about this before you made your video.

You're right, freight is a pain in the arse, esp. when I cannot provide my customers with real-time shipping costs as is possible with parcel shipments. Density-based calculations make so much sense. I think classifications should only come into play, off the top of my head, when it comes to shipping volatile materials esp items that requires an MSDS. But when it comes to shipping furniture and motorcycles (empty tank) and clothing for example, these should be a no-brainer, whether in a parcel or on a pallet.

I am broker from Los Angeles, CA. Do you need any loads covered to Los Angeles or Amarillo, Texas?

Thank you for the informative video! The ratio you use here makes mre sense than the last video I saw, where I think you said two forty footers into one 53' unless I mis-heard. 3 (6 teu) into two 53 footers makes sense, approx..

2 40 ft import containers will fit on 1 53ft full truckload for transloading. This generally makes transloading more economical versus drayage. hopefully this clarifies.

With the app on Shopify, can this give the customer a instant shipping quote upon an add to cart purchase?

What are your prices for pick & pack? Do you pass on the discount savings that you receive from FedEx, DHL etc. How much for shipping, unloading, and storage?

I'm self-employed. In the past, I used YRC Freight company to ship my customers' shipment. But for more economics, I was using terminal to terminals. I dropped off the shipment and customer pickup to the closest Freight terminal. Do you have that option in your software?

not everyone has to sound like a guru. we already have lots of fake gurus in the market. i really like his authentic and original style. you should focus more on the value he is providing free of cost instead of commenting on his style of delivery.

Thank you! I wonder if you switched to a better mic system since making this. It would help a lot...like a clip-on blue tooth mic, if they make those? Your audio is going through the mike on the camera or phone? Not such good acoustics for people who are new to the field. Thanks! Great info, btw!

Great video, thank you! Some very useful information here! Does it matter where geographically a shipper might be to use your services? Lower 48 ok, or do you specialize by region? Thank you!

How do I get an actual dollar figure from measuring weight, distance, or demand after figuring out what class the freight is?
@jonathanodom9602 жыл бұрын
Contact the carrier for a shipping estimate. Most if not all LTL carriers will have a method for quotes on their website, or you can get a quote either by phone or email.
