This live album is one of the best live albums of all time, by any band. The performance is great, the atmosphere is special, but above all it's the production that really stands out imo. What a magnificient sound and mix.

At the end of the song, there going into their cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Foxey Lady"; Their version of that is spectacular; Wish that was on this album as well.

Some REAL music we have here! Take a listen! That atmosphere, vow... it's not 'dark' or 'heavy'... it's BEYOND dark and BEYOND heavy! Feel liker anxiety grown so big when you realized being trapped in a mentally dead-end situation, and having no hope at all you - for the 1st time - start asking God for help. A diamond for a song!

Out of this world. Only Robert Smith and the Cure could make 'At Night' sound so sublime and, want to get up and move to it's beat.

This was the Cure at their apex. You have three ferocious guitarists, and propulsive bass playing by Gallup, and Williams’ drumming being the driving force... While “One Hundred Years” has been more faithful to its original production style in recent years, it hasn’t matched the impassioned fury of this version.

This concert has an aura that is hard to explain. Just the amazing opening with At night and Figurehead transports you to another planet (very dark planet). But the beauty is all over it. -Soulblacknight

Imo, this is the best version of this song ever!! I mean, I still love the original, with that cold mono vibe and drum machine, but this version, I don't know but it sounds special too. It sounds way more dynamic because of the real drums in comparisom with the original. Boris did a great job with is drumming, helping creating and releasing the tension that the song have. Its (another) magnificent performance from the whole band! From the despair in Rob´s voice performance, to the perfect guitars hautings sounds, to that great psico-loud-guitar solo with that climax, to that tremendous powerhouse rhythmic section with Simon always consistent like a boss with that power tone and bass lines, and Boris with such dynamic, groovy, with small improvisations on the end of the phrases, all this with an amazing flow and THE perfect tempo for the song, not too slow for not loose the balance and not too fast to let the bends breathe. All combined to result in this beautiful piece of art. Btw, this is"just"one of the many great songs on one of the best live albums ever.
