I like some of your other cameras. However this camera isn’t worth the money because you have your resolution way to low. Even at 2mp you should be able to see “nearby” number plates, yet you cannot. When you zoomed in on the number plate the pixels were actually hurting my eyes. Personally, I would highly recommend if your wanting cameras specifically for ANPR then at the bare minimum I’d recommend 4mp. I’m currently in the hunt for a new IP PTZ and that’s how I came across your channel. But to be fair, after seeing yours I think I’m going to have to get an 8mp or at the very least a 4mp but cheers for the videos all the same.

Thank you for this nice demonstration. I own 2 of this very same camera and they offer a very good value at this price point or even double this price point and I know this from having experienced a great many auto-tracking cameras. My ONLY issue with this camera is actually demonstrated momentarily at the very end of your video: When a person or even a car passes BEHIND a stationary object, like a tree trunk, a bush or another person, etc., this camera will almost always stop tracking and fixate on that object losing its ability to track any further until the camera resets or is re-triggered. While its not fair to compare this $500 camera to a $3,000+ Bosch Autodome I will in order to draw this one comparison: The Bosch camera has an amazing ability to stay locked on the subject it is tracking. Even if a person is winding through a heavily wooded area the Bosch with its "Intelligent Tracking" will relentlessly keep up. But, beyond that, there are aspects to the Hik camera that I actually prefer and for those who do not have competing objects in the way of their tracking path you might want to save your money and buy the Hik (or a half dozen of them :) I only wish that Hikvision would find a way to make their so called "Smart Tracking" a bit smarter as I hold my breath for either a firmware update or a new model that addresses this issue. With all of that said I highly recommend this camera. Mine have been running nonstop outdoors in rugged Northwest weather for 3 years without a single glitch.
