Somehow I doubt that this 2025 would compare to it in those categories. Over complicated and everything run by a computer. Also not a DIY type truck.

#1) this is just more fake news. #2) NOTHING like this will come out of Stelantis. They are on the verge of going belly up, and everybody knows it. They have had a good run with their last batch of HEMI engines. But with their terrible reputation for reliability, and them making the decision to scrap the MOPAR heritage in favor of six cylinder and electric (glorified golf carts, that don't even work), they are done. They just don't want to admit it to their investors. The BEST thing they could do, is to find an American manufacturing firm wanting to diversify their existing product line. And sell the entire Chrysler Corporation name plates, product lines, and patents to them. And go back "across the pond", and sell Fiats and Vauxhall cars where they can. They did a great job promoting the performance Dodges. But the COMPLETE FAILURE of the Jeep line, and their reliability across the board is a HUGE concern to American buyers. Plus their unrealistic premium prices, in a FAULTERING economy, leaves them out of touch, and out of luck. Nobody is going to pay $80,000.00 +++++ for a vehicle that will be LUCKY to make it through the warranty period. Let alone face $7,000.00 +++ repairs shortly afterwards, and then face even more BIG $ problems down the road. When you build vehicles and price them for the high end, they NEED TO BE ROBUST, RELIABLE, AND NOT NEED MAJOR REPAIRS. If your going to build vehicles for off highway service. You HAVE to build them so the vehicle isn't totaled after one "OOPS" with a water puddle. There is NO REASON that the electrical components of these vehicles couldn't be WATERPROOF, at least for the duration of the warranty period, and up to say 10 feet of water. And engines and transmissions, ACROSS THE ENTIRE BRAND(S) NEED to be BULLETPROOF for a MINIMUM of 200,000 miles. I have 2 people in my life that have late model Jeeps, BOTH with transmission problems, that are both taking over a month to repair, AND BOTH ARE UNDER WARRANTY. And the furthest either of these 2 get "off highway" is their driveways and parking lots. Stelantis IS BUILDING GARBAGE, AND CHARGING PREMIUM PLUS PRICES! And that is a LOSING proposition, I don't care who you are.
