Seeing your review. Imo the album didn't start picking up until Technicolor. Overall a solid album by JT's standards. I think it's his third best album behind 20/20 Part 1 and FSLS.

I like your thoughts on Conditions. Especially, the thought of JT addressing himself in a form of reflection and self-love. Definitely makes sense lyrically. To me, I viewed Conditions like a song to the fans and like a "will you still love me amidst my mistakes" and a thank you for being there for him. Especially in the midst of the recent drama that's come up in the mainstream. That close feels like a thank you to the fans as he says you are love and that his fans are everything he thought they would be. But I can see another side to that as well where he's thankful that he's everything he thought that he could be as a person and artist. Acceptance of oneself. Good reactions

In terms of the first song to the last song…it’s his best album. Meaning I would add more total songs from this album to a playlist than past albums, even though past albums have better single songs. In addition, hard to actually “hate” any song off this album. And that isn’t the case with just about any album from any artist.

i dont exactly agree with ur take.. timbaland is not the sole creator of jt beats.. he was working with other ppl like he is doing on this album.. timbo is still justin main adviser ..he is the one who made him work with the producers on this album.. he is still responsible for justin choices.. he is not the producer he used to be and he is simply washed out.. if he had more justin would have put it there...i love many personal emotional songs here.. and i want justin to move on from his sound after this to more mature musical choices like live acoustic with mature lyrics

hmmmmm if I were to rank the album based on the production quality and artistry 1. 20/20 Experience (1&2) 2. Future Sex/Love Sounds 3. Justified 4. Man of the Woods 5. Everything I Thought It Was But if I were to rank it on my preference, like which one would I most likely listen more to from top to end 1. FS/LS 2. Justified (even though my favorite JT song of all time is on it) 3. 20/20 Experience Part 1 4. Everything I Thought It Was 5. 20/20 Part 2 6. Man of the Woods Thank God playlists (or mixtapes) are a thing haha I do think EITIW is the way to go if you want to get JT's music in a nutshell. It is a good balance of everything JT.

Danja aka Nate Hills has worked with Justin Timberlake since the FutureSex Lovesounds era. Nate Hills is inspired by Timberland. Nate Hills is a solid producer who has worked with Britney Spears and BSB in the past. And Timberland is the GOAT

yup2x, he was Timbaland's protege. But, except for "Filthy" and 2 others, he has not worked on any other JT song or album until now. Glad that he's back, coz he's very talented. It's nice to see him progress and develop into his own.

@jshaughn51092 ай бұрын
Go check the credits buddy. Danja literally produced FutureSex damn near in its entirety with Timbaland and he produced 3 tracks on Man of The Woods. JT has worked with Danja extensively.
@omgnetwork52312 ай бұрын
@@jshaughn5109 oh right, I forgot about Sauce and Say Something. But really, while he was working with Britney he was not working with JT (20/20 era) Which may just be a coincidence and schedule thing. I don't think anyone has overlooked Danja, at least not I. I don't even know what you guys are trying to point out. Coz in the video, the only thing I said about him was "Why just Danja? Is he no longer called Danja Handz?" Coz that's what he used to go by
@jshaughn51092 ай бұрын
Not sure what the other guy was pointing out with his post, but I'm just simply pointing out Danja has worked with JT a lot more than just 3 songs. He produced FSLS with Timbaland almost in its entirety, and then a few more songs on MOTW. You made it sound like he had only produced 3 songs total for JT. I don't think you were "overlooking" Danja as a producer, but I was just correcting you that he's produced quite a bit for JT. That's all.

Really love your moves during the songs 😂...I don't really like the album sadly, it lacks creativity and surprise for me . Too simple and predictable. I'am a fan since Justified that i really love but since 20/20 his songs are too repetitive and less interesting. A lot of songs on this album sounds like B-Side of his previous albums (especially FS/LS and 20/20) something already done by him and heard from him. Hard to think that he worked 5 years for this. Love your video and glad that you're loving this album. 🙌🏻 🙌🏽 🙌

I love this album this album is the return of JT back to his good sounds that I like from his first four albums, I didn’t like his sound on his previous album Man of the Woods too country folk in my honest opinion. This new album for me gets a 10 out of a 10

Hello B Town, I congratulate you for your extremely detailed but on-point observations of each song without being too boring. As a big JT fan living in Istanbul, Turkey, I enjoyed watching your analysis for 1 hour without fast forwarding. I was amazed by your knowledge of JT and happy to have discovered someone like me. For example, we think exactly the same about your ideas, such as the high note he hit in his live performance of Sanctified, or your statement that the song Love & War would look great in a rmovie scene. I was keep suprising how we could think the same thing in every comment :) Anyway, you have a new follower. You're pretty good at reacting and interpreting, I hope you keep it up. My suggestion is that you make a reaction series like this to all of JT's albums. And of course, for upcoming new video clips. In my humble opinion, JT always sets a theme for his albums/eras. Sound, clothing, stage design and song genres. Considering this situation, the genres of his albums are respectively; Justified: Pop-R&B-Hip-Hop Future Sex Love Sound: Electro Pop (Which was a trend setter at that time because he influenced every artist on earth as bringing a new sound to the game, I even witnessed Turkish popstars like Tarkan made an album called Metamorphosis with similar sound, even clothing & styling that grey toned suits etc :) 20/20 Experience Part 1&2 : Mostly Classical Music Sounds Man of the Woods: Mostly Country Sounds Everything I Thought It Was: Pop-Funk
@omgnetwork52312 ай бұрын
oh dude, I appreciate it! thank you for the kind words And I agree... JT's very calculated to a tee, including promotion and timing... He has always been a trendsetter in fashion and music. I remember almost everyone tried to dress like him... even here in the Philippines though it's hot and humid AF hahaha. And as far as music is concerned, his albums are always ahead of the pack. Before, FSLS, everyone wanted that Justified sound that still has not been duplicated. Same goes with FSLS; then they tried to sound "vintage" and "old school" after 20/20 (although most people only site Bruno coz he still hasn't gotten off that trend) and for MOTW, it seems like country is taking over pop and R&B today with Beyonce and others.
