What a sweet and kind way to say goodbye to a loved one with whom your relationship has just run its course . “ There’s a train every day leaving either way, there’s a world you know .” “ This is my opening farewell.” What a brilliant way to say farewell.

Such a song to reproduce with what? ...two guys? ....outside the studio? Yet they captured the sound and the vibe of the original perfectly! Bravissimo!!!

Glad I found this. 5:43 5:43 Sure miss David.😢. Up and going to bed needed to hear CJB And found this. Love. I actually been working on this one. Love Bonnie Raitt and your duet. I am jealous lol. So I was just doing her parts with my harmony. I can't imagine a break up. I was blessed. 33 yrs married. He died after 8 yrs fighting C of the of the stomach Liver etc. died at 51. Damn fine singer songwriter. 33 years married he taught me so much we did so many of CJB songs. He's been gone now 15 yrs. Seem like just a few years. Miss him dearly. The idea here for me is I could never go thru a break up..knowing he's there with another woman. Id be crazy. It's best he died much easier To survive that kind of grief. Id have that swimming pool full of tears. Smh. Hope you and the family are all well. Thanks for this song. 🎶❤

First heard Jackson's music in summer of 1974? while driving across the desert and this Utah-based radio station "stereo X" played his Saturate Before Using album straight through "without commercial interruption." And have loved his music ever since. Jackson's early albums are all precious gems - they shine every time you listen to them and just as brightly (or more) than when you first heard them. Colors of the Sun has always resonated with me. It has an understated emotional current that always lifts me higher and higher - evoking that kind of "bursting out of your chest" phenomenon. Despite whatever shortcomings or flaws Jackson Browne may have been accused of in his personal life, there's no question he is one of the greatest and most influential artists of our generation. I truly feel blessed to have witnessed his "artistic arc" first-hand. Thank You Jackson for enriching my life!

Such a beautiful gem! The first time I heard the original version it gave me goose bumps. The lyrics, the instrumentation & the mellow Jackson Browne's tone is a total piece of art! God Bless you, Jackson!

আমি একা কাঁদবো...স্থির জলের নীচে...তোমার ভালোবাসা চলে গেছে... Lyrics: Beneath still waters There's a strong undertow The surface won't tell you What the deepwater knows Darling, I'm saying I know something's wrong Beneath still waters Your love is gone Even a fool could see That you'll soon be leaving me But each and every heart Must take its turn at misery And this time it's me And I'll cry alone Beneath still waters Your love is gone Even a fool could see That you'll soon be leaving me But each…
