You did great job trouble shooting.... My 2500 HD (2022) with 62k miles just started not crankning up on the first kick. It will fire up on the second one but has no power and will only idle close to normal but a little high. Has no power when I get it up the speed. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS!

using forscan i cleaned P02E1:00-AE,BUT AFTER SOME MINUTES 5-10 APPEAR AGAIN,i replaced throtle valve,intake air sensor,appear again,i static regenerated,but appeaer again,i will clean EGR,i will try to check PCM connectors,what you think???? this is FORDMONDEO MK4 2011

Bro I have the same code. I changed my oil cleared out code it went away for 3600miles and then came back on. Oil level is full, my question is does the pump need to be primed up if I replace the whole unit with the valve on it.?

Priming is not necessary but you can put assembly lube inside just to be safe. I use the white assembly lube and push it through the inlet port. Or you can take off the front cover on the pump and put on some gloves and give the gears a good coating of your choice of lubricant and reinstall the cover with the already lubricated gears.

Excellent video my brother,I have come across that similar issue,understand that it's series and parallel but that's it ,kept on chucking ,I had a friend in Jamaica that I have lost connection with who mastered circuitry to the bone ,well actually a few of them ,they would always be able to repair European ecu for me that I couldn't manage on my own ....your doing a good job

I’m about to be on my third fuel pump on my L5D and it has 70k miles. What would you recommend, FASS fuel system?

@@codymullican1988 what kind of pumps did you use. Only time I see multiple pumps fail is using aftermarket pumps. Unless you’re using a super hot tune and running oversized injectors the fass or air dog is overkill but it’s your truck and only you know your budget and your plans with that truck.

@@AD-T it’s a stock truck, I use for towing. I paid a mechanic shop to do the fuel pumps. It has the dual fuel tank set up. I’m not sure if they used after market pumps. I will ask though. Do you think putting a good fuel additive does anything to help?

@@codymullican1988 the quality of the fuel is not the issue it’s more than likely the pump they keep installing is not an oem pump. You should investigate this and see if they can prove they put an oem pump. Anything other than the oem pump will only work for a few months or sometimes throw a Check engine light right after installation. These pumps run on phases and typically aftermarket pumps skimp out on critical components and tight tolerances gm has on these pumps. I know everyone pushes the idea that Dorman and Delphi and other manufacturers are just as good but they are not. Often the people who push their products are just paid to do so.

@@BrightthgirB if it’s in spec the next step is checking power and grounds at the module and if everything is good then you need a module. You will definitely need a better scan tool to program the injector codes and copy them from the ecm

Do you know if the throttle body is bad if it would cause a delay in the starting process it was turning over for a short period and then it sounded like the starter disengages but the motor still turning but slows down substantially until the time Runs Out or turning the key off. The pickup starts intermittently. New batteries. Starter works just fine alternator is charging. Code p02E7

Hey I have a 2015 Cadillac Escalade with the same code and I replaced the control solenoid valve code went away for 3 days came back again you think is my oil pump ? Also do you if they have an oil pressure relief valve in the oil pan?

I had the same code. The psi would drop to like 17 then spike to almost 70 on acceleration. I replaced the pump and harness. 3 days later code came back on. 2014 Silverado 5.3. Anyone know what’s going on

Can i ask what scanner you're using? And would it work on 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LTZ L5P 4X4? The truck has 14 codes, 3 lost com with TCM, low voltage, image processor, Truck won't shift has no prndl, 4wd only goes in high 4 or auto can't go into 2wd or 4lo. And can't power off instrument cluster or entertainment center. Truck starts runs but won't go in gear. When you shut it off IC and EC stay on power to windows is still there. I left it for half hour with key 100 feet from truck and still on when i returned. I've looked over diagrams. I need to print them out i did see something on all data that had similarities to the issues the truck is having front camera windshield, brake pressure control module, traction control, abs: tcm: transfer case and so on, i believe it was Can data not gonna lie im trying to understand all the different languages all the different lines do and what to expect in testing. Anyway any advice or what scanner you use and would it be compatible with 2024 truck? Thank you!

Oem scan tool you can purchase it on ac delco tds . Com and you can just download it and it works on all years Gm excluding pre 09 years and get you the interface from aeswave.com and they have aftermarket versions of the mdi you can use to communicate with the vehicle. You can buy an mdi but the aftermarket one works just fine and I been using it for years this is the part number DT-GM-3 and you combine it with your oem software and you have a dealer level scan tool. There's light duty, then medium duty which is telling me I'd need light duty first to get medium duty. I just want to make sure im getting the correct software. This is for the 2024 Silverado 6.6 diesel 4x4 automatic LTZ Is there a way i could reach out to you privately either email or phone? @@jamesmcfarland3887 not all years of powerstrokes have that connector and no it’s not a button. There’s various cab and chassis and fleet side options the method I’m showing works on every year and what if you break the connector. It’s all about speed and accuracy.

@@Zacklife try running the truck without the downpipe to eliminate exhaust restriction. Also you can try removing the throttle body/ intake horn to inspect the intake grid heater to see if it’s clear and free of soot buildup

Yeah if you look at the schematics for the 20 and newer trucks 6 and 14 go into the gateway module which has 2 60s in series

I checked ohms at gate way, I have 120¤ on pins 14-15 and 4-5. What else should I do? What is the next step? I have check engine light on, abs, airbag, and brake

I would scan the vehicle and see what modules talk and what modules don’t and print out a network diagram and follow the road of who talks and who doesn’t and divide and conquer

Honestly, that is a good question. I have a 21' 2500 DURAMAX, 72,000 miles, zero issues! The 2nd gen. seem to be plagued with issues from emissions to drive train/tranny. I think I'll hold onto my truck.

Great work. So just to be clear to make sure I'm interpreting this, all the ac problems, the module and all that, wasn't causing the drain, only the jumper wire in the underwood fuse box was doing that right?

Yes the jumper wire they used had the ac clutch to be constantly engaged even with the key off. The module fixed the ac issue due to the thermistor circuit internal to the module was not working correctly giving a false reading of the evaporator being frozen. Once the module was replaced the thermistor was reading correctly and thus engaging the clutch.

The glow plugs were blamed at first for failing prematurely and causing engine damage but later they revised it and the fix is getting the pcm recalibrated.

Yo bro I got the same code after replacement of engine due to a misfire on cylinder #8 when I test the circuit I have available voltage to sensor and good ground wire with pcm connection disconnect. But when I go directly to the connector to the oil pump solenoid it only show 9 volts not 12 volts. I am thinking I have a bad command ground inside pcm do you think this is possible?
