Time travel ! …..it’s necessary so I can relive being a fan in the crowd. It was a magical experience attending these shows back around the early 90’s. I was living in the US near the Canadian border during this time and was fortunate to see them evolve in and around Vancouver B.C. They were local Gods. I’m in my later 60’s now and reminiscing from Thailand. The Hip ! ~ right 0N eh

Lucky one here. Saw them 3 times. Landsdowne Park (TD Place now) Palladium (Canadian Tire Centre now) and NAC (still NAC). Sounded awesome in all 3 venues. The Hip weren’t a concert. They were a family gathering. My Canadian family. Cheers Gord. Miss you still my brother.

Growing up.in southern Ontario, long weekends meant going up north to a cabin cottage or camping, bonfires, beers and The Tragically Hip was our band.

I’ve lived 2 hrs from Kingston in NY , crossed the border hundreds of times for a variety of reasons , unfortunately for me , never to see this band. After watching the recent doc I have been up to my eyeballs in their catalog. I’m convinced that they were the greatest band ever. There is no comparison to anything else. Canadians are a selfish bunch, on the one hand they have the world Rush but kept the Hip for themselves. 😊

I was never as interested in seeing The Hip live once Gord started playing guitar onstage. Totally ruined his stage presence. Nice to see him put it down, though, for "Pistols".

This is my band. I live for them daily. Always playing on my stereo. So sad they are no longer, I remember hearing the news on April 21 2015 that Gord had cancer and it was bad. Stage 4 glioblastoma

As a true and Hip fan, if anyone ever said they hated hip music or just that it wasn’t their type music, we take that as an huge insult, and get enormously angered. It’s funny looking at it that way but I do. These genius boys from Kingston Ontario belong to every Canadian born Citizen!! When Gordie passed on that that great gig in sky, a part of every Canuck sort of died that day as well. We love ya Gordie, he made the mood the day you came into this world buddy!!!! The Hip baby
