Note to everyone, Cathy and I have been experiencing issues with our legs walking. So, we limited our movements on all ports for this cruise.

Hi Jim, thanks for the review! I bought this as my first amp as I am just dabbling in amplified playing. I am using a hand-made low impedance mic but I get a good crunchy sound from the virtual pedals and effects. The mic however is pretty uncomfortable in my hand so I'm looking for something more easily gripped. Because this is not a tube amp, and I can achieve a good sound without a tube or standard harp mic, I'm wondering if I should get a bullet/ini, Jason Ricci, etc. style mic. Which are you using? Any thoughts you have would be appreciated! thanks

I have a bullet mic, don't use it, also have 2 Shure SM58, and 1 Shure SM57. I am not a blues player, I play single notes, so those others work for me. We travel alot, so i use whatever they have available. That little amp is okay, but, i use at home. You might trying to loop it to you belt, and use a 3 foot cord....good luck, thanks for the reply.

What is the microphone and cord. Is there and adapter going to the amp? Such as an impedance transformer. I’m on a tithe budget have spark 40 and harmonica it’s the microphone hone and proper hoo loop that’s getting me.

Thanks for this video Jim.I just came back from the same cruise Oct. 28 ~ Nov. 4.I attended the military appreciation in the Liquid Lounge where Lilia sang the National Anthem.I was amazed with her amazing voice.Had to hear more of her so cruise director Gerry introduced me to her and Hot Shots.Every night on deck 5 I was there to see them play.Video taped most of Queen and Journey tributes.You had to be there to believe it.I will try to post on KZbin.

Very easy to walk to the Terminal, even with the Shaq fest going on, it didnt take over about 5 minutes. Have fun on your cruise.

@@packyrat I’m in the Oct 7th cruise, the first one when they add La Paz to the itinerary. I always like those extended balconies at the back, but this is my first time on the panorama, it’s different but looks very nice!

We are going on the same cruise the last week of July in a few weeks. What was the weather like temperature wise? Having a hard time figuring out what to pack. I know to pack some rain jackets but wondering if needing pants or shorts etc.

It wasn't all that busy to me. I have been on smaller ships that appeared more crowded. Couldn't tell you about the MDR or shows, was too busy doing other stuff. I usually stay away from the MDR, don't like taking 1 1/2 hours to eat, that applies to all Ship MDR'S.

I enjoyed just watching the ship goings on, as I'm excited and counting down until it's my turn in a week. Good job! I am a hospice nurse and just lost a very special patient named Noe (NO-ay) who came to the US from Columbia and taught Spanish at our college. He spoke 5 languages. Such a special, well traveled, wise man.
