Seemingly Paulie from The Sopranos is in this scene but don't spot him.

Give us a break with Kubrick.. He did 10 movies.. there's other directors

It is pronounced that you are not somebody who would concede to the theory of quality over quantity. Don’t tell us to give you a break when it is you that is here of your own volition, commenting under this video of Stanley Kubrick. You miss the point unreservedly of why Kubrick is important and why it is good to study his work. His entire life’s work encompasses not just his released films - research the Stanley Kubrick Archive, devour the Taschen book, watch Jon Ronson’s documentary ‘Stanley Kubrick’s Boxes’, read ‘Waiting for a miracle: a survey of Stanley Kubrick’s unrealized projects’ by Filippo Ulivieri. Thank you and regards.

He doesnt seem like an "avante garde" story teller type of director, but much more a super technical guy who knew how to produce very good films.

Stanley sounds to me like he wouldve been the kid standing unassumingly in the corner at a party who turns out to be the coolest person there. He sounds like he was just an affable nerdy guy with a ton of weird interests who loved to talk about interesting shit to anyone who would listen. His reputation is clearly all wrong.

Beating anything (that was once popular) to death continues to flourish. Mr Kovacs' sketches remain popular because they were creative and original. Today's entertainment is the domain of corporate bean counters. Ideas are eventually watered down due to decisions made "by committee."

Cassavetes allegedly choked Stanley Kramer over the edit of 'A Child Is Waiting' so ranting is absolutely in character for Cassavetes.

The japanese guy is talking on the phone to Stanley from Stanley’s main cutting room at the time of The Shining. The joke is that Julian Senior pretended that Stanley was away, so couldn’t meet him personally, but the truth was that Stanley was on the phone hiding in his office just next door!
