I’m sold!! Now the question is should I go with a 1/2 or 3/4? Would be using it for my house, mostly on a floor drain in my laundry room and also on main drain out of my house?! Also I think 75 feet would be enough but right now it’s only about 3$ more for 100 feet. Thanks for any advice and the great video

Best video on this truck and I’ve watched them all. Everyone has some sort of crawler course upgraded it. Using normal conditions to show off it’s capabilities is genius bro. 😎 i just wanted to see it in a way I would be using it. Im copping this truck because of this video.. thank you and I subscribed for more great content
@RCInsidersКүн бұрын
Thanks! You won't be disappointed. It's a great truck and I hope you get a lot of use out of it. I've had it for years & still get it out as often as I can. When I do reviews I always like to show it "out of the box". I love mods as much as anyone, but people need to see what they "get", not what it "can be". IMO, this is hands down the best crawler, for the money. Is this your first crawler? Thanks for dropping by & happy bashing my friend!! @RCInsiders

I've also had enough of shelling out $$ for plumbers to do this... it seems like every time, it's $100 more... so, screw that. I bought the 100' 1/2" vevor, arrived the other day, plan to do some basic testing today to make sure it works - don't want to store it for 6 months/1 yr only to find out later it was a dud, and out of warranty. I also stopped at a local used-construction stuff store and bought a 4 foot 2" PVC pipe that I'll test with. For us, it's our kitchen drain that gets clogged every few years because people don't understand what you shouldn't put down the drain. This video covers the operation well, thanks!
@RCInsiders5 күн бұрын
Nice! It was more like 2-300 for me & I was done with it too. I hear you on the kitchen drain! Scrape the plate for goodness sakes :) Good idea to test it out as well. This machine should be perfect for the kitchen line. The way I looked at it is the machine paid for itself after a use or 2. Every use after that I consider profit 😃 If you get the chance after your testing, let me know how you like it? Thanks for dropping by & have a great day!! @RCInsiders
@rkblackwell5 күн бұрын
@@RCInsiders I unboxed it, tested it out, it works great. The plumbers here... a few years ago it was about $200 to clear and I wasn't thrilled with that. Then, next time, $300! When the dude was doing this one, I asked him how far down the clog was, so I'd know what length to get... but I didn't buy one in time for this latest clog... over $400 to clear this time!!!!! I think the guy took advantage but didn't want to argue. So... seeing how it's the same problem every time, and not something hard-core like roots, just grease mostly, I finally broke down and bought this. It was 399. Less than our latest plumber's call. I only need to clear our sink drain once for it to pay for itself.

Here in 2025. I did all of this. The car did idle for about 2 minutes but when the RPM dropped down to 1 it started doing the same thing. Replaced that air flow censor. And the plug. Replaced all coil packs. Replaced both thermostats. I think my next move is a whole new ECM. I'm a Ford girl but i liked the avenger style so i bought it. Only to realize they are complicated. Battery in the wheel wall! I had to drop the entire front of the car down just to replace my headlight housings. Freaking had to tork the fog lights out! I took 2 years of auto mechanics in high school when life was fun and easy but as an adult it's not fun it's stressful lol

FWIW I bought my kids the Redcat Volcano trucks and they are extremely durable and easy to work on. They also have lots of factory upgrade parts and spare parts support. I’m a former RC racer and didn’t expect a lot from this lesser known brand. But they deliver. PS we’ve done things with the expectations of breaking parts. The only thing we’ve replaced are the servo and one dog bone. But be advise their upgrade alum shocks are only upgrades in the academic sense. We had to use 3K diff oil to make them dampen right.
@RCInsiders11 күн бұрын
Awesome Neil! I love a lot of RC's, but Redcat tops my list on "best for the money". I have a few that are 6+ years old & still running like new. One of those is the Volcano. Love it! Cool to hear you're getting the kids into the hobby. Lots to learn & so many good times to be had together :) What did you used to race? Thanks for dropping by & happy bashing my friend!! @RCInsiders
@NeilLB711 күн бұрын
I raced in order…Grasshopper, Mauri Big Bear, RC10, RC10 mid graphite mid motor custom, Ultima, Ultima graphite chassis, Ultima Mid Custom with pan car front for onroad. I’ve returned to racing this year. Building two new rear motor ultimas (using re-release kits) with graphite chassis and EXO chassis, and I just bought a PR Racing B10R. I only like 1/10 buggy stock onroad carpet. It’s what I grew up racing. For fun I bought a new RC8B3.2 Team car. Never had a 1/8 nitro before but I’m going to test it. It’s still boxed up.
@NeilLB711 күн бұрын
The grasshopper was raced in a class for kids (at the time) called cruiser. I learned so much. And monster truck racing in the 80’s-90’s was rough and tumble with a lot of breakage and awesome wrecks. Nothing like todays truggys and SCT.
