I sincerely have chosen to go into silence because of the genius of these people. I know I am a colonist when I hear my participation here...I go forth in silence to listen to all of you...I tried to bring forth what I learned through my translation and interpretation of the Popol Wuj...Thank You all to returning me to silence...I am in deep need of a silent pilgrimage...

Popol Wuj forms and shapes the Social Order of the K'iche World known as Guatemala therefore it is perceived as a very dangerous Mapa Mitica de los Mayas...the Dominicans and Franciscans wanted to erase the Popol Wuj from the Face of the Earth but they did not succeed. Popol Wuj threatens the Chaotic Order of the Doctrine of Christian Discovery and Domination...How do we create a New Order out of the Spiritual and Dotrinal Chaos we live in today.

Popol Wuj is perceived as a very dangerous story because it is a True Narrative that goes against the the Colonial Projects of the Christian Colonialists and the Mayas THE MAYAS WHO WILL RISE UP WHEN THEY FOLLOW THE ANCIENT WORDS AND ANCESTRAL STORY OF THE SACRED STORYVTHSTVIS THE POPOL WUJ....

When the First Four Fathers of the K'iche Maya can speak and tell story; they can walk and talk; they can grabhold and understand everything; they can see close and far; and they can name the names of the Former, Shaper; Mother, Father; Divine Ancestors and Divinities...This TENSION and IMBALANCE calls forth a deep desire for balance and harmony...This idea of the Mytho-Historic is so important to understanding Popol Wuj in the context of the Maya who have been denied their History through historical violence and domination through oppression whike Christian Orthodoxy and Ideology have Demonized the Myth of Popol Wuj and its Ancestral Deities as Demons and Devils...so the Colonial Powers that exist in the Maya World havr crushed the Popol Wuj while killing and intimidating those who have supported the Popol Wuj.

What are we allowed to say...what is the Essence of the Ancient Word...One becomes tooo excited to hear all of this....Ollin the Movement and the creation of motion through the TENSION caused by the Make-Female; Center-Periphery; Maize needs Men to tend it in the Milpa just as Maize needs Women to transforn the Grains of Maize into Sacred Sustenance by cooking it in lime or ash to the wash the cooked kernels to then grind the cooked maize or Tzoa...to the Form tortilla and shape tamales....Popol Wuj is a Mythic Map that tells of the evolution of the Maya Sky-Earth...

The Gift of Consciousness is the speaking of Sacred Names of the Divine Ancestors...To pray out loud to be heard by the Divine Ancestors to be heard by the Higher Consciousness to create create consciousness...I am so sorry hiw little consciousness I manifest because of how manic and excited I was to speak to the Creation of Life through the Ancient Word.

Will we be able to support the Maya and Mesoamerican People in their heroic quest to decolonize their colonized minds and souls. I work closely with the Maya and am always surprised by how little confidence they have in their Sacred Word...Popol Wuj is the Story of Creation and Destruction of one Sun after the Other...The Earthvid brought forth from the Settled Water to climb up into the Sky...the the Trees and Vines are spoken into existence...The Maya speak themselves into existence through the Ancestral Word...Ancient Word; Ancient Way that is spoken into being...Young Maya Initiates will sing and dance themselves into being when they arrive at Tulan Tzuy Wa the Sacred Ceremonial Center of the Great Lord or Ajaw Quetzalcoatl...The Popol Wuj is a Universal Story of the Maya...I feel I really failed to bring forth this Sacred History of the Imaginal Realm of the Animal Beings who arexasked to Name the Names of the Former, Shaper; the Mother, the Father the Ancestral Couple who divine the Tree and Reed People Tzite Seed and Maize Seed...Creation and Destruction of One Sun after the next...Jun Juajpu Wuqub Junajpu One and Seven Junajpu...the Intricate Esoteric story of Creation and Destruction of the Maize People...IxKik' rises up and out of the Underworld as the Crescent Moon as the Eyelash of the Returning Descendant of the Moon Grandmother who died Three days before on the Eastern Horizons as the Eyelash of the Dying Grandmother in the East now as the Descendant Granddaughter Baby Child as the Replacement of the Grandmother who died in the Eastvfrom where the Dawn if the Sun will come forth...whereas the Moon will begin her Lifecycle in the West with the Rising of the New Moon as the Crescent Moon in the West on the Western Horizon where the Sun goes to die when he falls into abyss of Pacific Ocean...

Western Christian Colonial domination clouds over our Vision of the Maya. So how do we Decolonize our Gaze of the Maya looking back at us...Creation is a Forming and a Shaping of Human Beings in order to Populate the Face of the Earth...But before Heart of Sky; Heart of the Earth can "BRING FORTH" the People Maize the Hero Twins as Cultural Heroes must prepare tge Face of the Earth for the Forming and Shaping of the Maize People. Popol Wuj tells us of the Process of Creation and Destruction of one Age after the next; one Sun after the next...the True Narrative...the True Story...the True Myth that tells the Sacred History of the K'iche Maya Winaq-Many Tree People; K'iche Amaq' Many Tree Pueblo...

Popol Wuj or the Book of Council that is the K’iche Maya Book of Counsel is not well known among tbe Maya because it is a Sacred Book of Mythic-History that is not accepted well because of the Human Sacrifice found in this Myth. Myth is very difficult to understand if tgeir is not a Guide and Interpreter of its Ancient Word.

I find Lionel Corbett's work on evil very courageous, it can't be easy to dwell on the topic and find ways to articulate such realities. I find that his presentations on the topic really help to unmask the various behaviours and characteristics, so many of which are all too common.

There is also the superconscious mind which is seldom discussed. It may be what Jung called the transcendent function, It is not discussed too much as are the conscious mind and the sub-conscious mind.

Could the father be a symbol for reason and the mother a symbol for feeling or the goddess. The Greeks at a point where it was necessary to move on from a goddess culture, therefore to kill the father (reason) deserved more punishment than killing the mother (goddess) or feeling. When Orestes killed the mother the fate was not being blinded as for killing the father but banishment for a while and then being brought back and rehabilitated, a much lesser punishment.

Great topic, great panel. However, the idea that a council of teachers is the solution for holding one another accountable quite honestly feels a bit naïve. Can there not also be group shadows and blindspots? As a member of a spiritual community myself, I have seen firsthand how teachers councils can function like echo chambers, shielding one another and even the teachings themselves from an examination of the shadow--even from acknowledgment of it.

Not a single woman. What does this say about the breadth of this system of thought? It apparently doesn't even seem strange to these men that the entire conversation would not include the considerably- different experience of one half of the human race.

Interesting how time unfolds layers of truth October 10 2023 Black Lives Matter sides with Palestinians and the slaughter of their innocents VS the slaughter of Jewish innocents an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, anti semitic riots in the West - wokism becomes the new inquisition .. does the Jewish left see the Frankenstein they’ve created ?

great presentation and discussion. As a therapist, I am struck with how, in our development, we wrestle with compassion as well as what feels to be a threat to our sense of self such as when a new sibling enters the family or we don't get accepted into the social group we yearn to be a part of. I think these experiences of threat our feelings of security and worth can add to the contents of our shadow side which we can project outward and then fight against. May wisdom and love wake us up to what we are doing.

This is very intriguing. It reminded me of a book I recently read by John Philip Newell called The Rebirth of God. The general idea is that there is a current need for reframing and converging our appreciation and connection to the earth to reconnect and authenticate our relationship with God. Wonderful. Dr. Jameson, I fully relate to evolving my beliefs from religious to spiritual. It has been an incredible journey.
