Just stumbled upon your channel - loving it so far!!! I have TONS AND TONS of scrapbooking supplies, but I scrapbook daily, so there's my justification LOL. At least that part of my life is relatively contained... my issue is clothing and lack of closet space! @@user888-r5x sadly that’s the main takeaway 😑 it’s so convenient! So that’s why I suggested if anyone does have a card linked that it has a small spending limit
@aramkiss9 күн бұрын
Sorry to hear what happened. I have to be honest about what I heard in the video. I am not sure if its Apple Pay is the issue. When you make payments via Apple Pay it does not share your credit card details with the merchant like when you physically use your credit card. This protects your CC info from being stolen and reused. I suspect this is more the banks avoiding their responsibilities when fraud occurs. If you do some research the banks have been avoiding their responsibilities. Also Credit card has fraud protection and Debit card really does not so I rarely use that.
@jeriheggie9 күн бұрын
@@aramkiss thank you, that was what they said but I really have no way of knowing for certain.

@@timbatee7433 thank you. It was a credit card 😑

Sorry to hear your ordeal! VERY SURPRISED by your bank’s response! The charges were on a credit card and NOT authorized. Federal law limits your liability to $50. I think you said something like you may have clicked on a link in a text authorizing somebody else for your apple wallet…. If so, sadly need to never click ANY link… no QR codes etc. this would be a cyber crime and you should report. Thank you for sharing warning… I am still stunned bank said wait instead of stop/dispute at pending…. I would push bank harder on THAT! NO WAY their fraud prevention department has THAT in their training manual! Time to get a new bank! Gl!
@jeriheggie10 күн бұрын
@@tcreamer710 thank you it never felt right to me. I am looking into switching banks 😑
@ChristophWeber-c9i9 күн бұрын
Correct! I actually have a recent experience (with Apple's own card incidentally) where I disputed two charges. One was for a service not rendered (car rental by a company that doesn't exist at my destination, long story) and one for a double charge for a hotel. Both were resolved to my satisfaction and I didn't spent a dollar extra that I didn't initiate myself and intended to spend. I have also gotten the run-around years ago about a disputed charge. Once resolved I canceled all my accounts with that bank (Wells-Fargo). Every other charge dispute was always cleanly resolved across several cards and across a couple decades. I'm very sorry that @jeriheggie 's experience is so bad, it should never be that way.

New subscriber here, I love clean and declutter videos 😇 I've liked the filming angle you've had in this one while emptying that overflowing trash can and with the AMSR sound too haha it's always satisfying to see to feel the house is fresh and less cluttered and even more with the sound on. I've noticed in you more recent cleaning video that you've emptied all the little trash cans around the house in it too, but I wish it was a similar filming angle as this one as you where filming from the other side of the kitchen counter 🤭 I hope you'll keep filming like this, also because I struggle so much to discard few things like any old clothes that can't be donated or even some beaty products, so when trash cans around the house are emptied in cleaning videos, I always try to see if something I struggle to toss was in there to get motivation ☺
