Well, if I didn't just realize that I had decorated a chair in the rec room with a bunch of Christmas-themed stuffed animals that I completely forgot about when everything else got put away! I immediately went downstairs and took care of that nonsense. I guess the answer to when I pack Christmas away is whenever I feel like it or am reminded to do it, which is sometimes February!

I recently found out that a tea bag can release billions of microplastics when steeped. That's seriously crazy! You might want to try loose leaf tea or some safe brands that don't put plastic in their tea bags, such as Pukka, Stash, Traditional Medicinals, and Yogi tea.

Jeri! Darling! Please read or get the brand new book by Mel Robbin’s, “Let Them”. People have their opinions…let them and more on. That’s what my years have taught me and this book has reminded about this theory. You are a wonderful mother. My boys knew how to cook, do laundry, fix things around the house, clean and dust by the time they were ready to move out on their own. No need to respond to people who want to say anything to you. You can take or leave it. Don’t give anyone power over you. The only one you need to answer to is our God! ❤sorry so long. I love your videos and content.
@jeriheggie13 күн бұрын
@@sallydsreality yes exactly, let them. Thankfully I’ve always had a stubborn side that doesn’t care much about what people think of me. And I can see why some people comment their concerns about teens needing to learn how to clean. I’m not disagreeing because it’s a life skill. I am open to their ideas but through the filter of I know my family best. Also videos can only show a sliver of our life so it’s okay if people don’t know our whole story. I share to inspire and motivate 🤗 I’ll have to check it out 😉 have a great day Sally!

I don't think a teenager needs to do all the cleaning in their room. They should learn, but you are the parent, there things that you need to do with your child together. But it is important to respect their privacy. Even if the parents think they need to know everything, that is not true ( until you are not suspecting harmful things). So just don't go through their stuff without their knowledge.
@jeriheggie13 күн бұрын
@@piciponda I love this important reminder! You break trust if you do things like that and it would be so damaging to your relationship. We encourage our kids to share things with us.
