So in my case, I imported a 29.970fps video to a 29.970 timeline and I was still getting prompts from DR that the frame rates were different. I’ve never filmed in 29.97 fps before nor edited in this time. Only decided to test it out today and I already have a headache. Later I understood that it had something to do with the DF or Use drop frame setting. The big question here is; do I use the drop frame setting or not? In this case i don’t need audio. And if in case I need audio in the future, what do I do? Thanks in advance! 🙏

@ I think Canon has more of a cinema image than Sony only video. I own 2 A7SIII’s and a Canon R6II. I really like the A7SIII for photography. It is so good at autofocus that I always get the shot. Video is good but looks more like commercial stuff and less cinematic. If you do get the FX3 I recommend the Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 lens. I love the look of it for video and photos. As for Canon the R5II seems to be a beast but the new battery drains fast. I think R6II is a phenomenal camera. Love it mainly for video but if you like portrait photography it is perfect for that. Sony is great for portraits and street photography. Anyhow any of the camera you mentioned are great. The ZV-E1 does overheat so be careful on that.

This prob the only thing I hate about davinci because when you slow down the footage and then you put in a 24fps timeline it looks choppy but in the 60fps timeline looks fine but when you render the slow motion doesn’t look cinematic. 😢

I always film in 60fps but let say I have different clips with different frame rates and change clip that is 60fps attributes to 24fps to slow it down that way. If I put it in new timeline that’s 24 it will look poopy unless I render that timeline at 60fps. So the goal is to render at 24fps . Idk how to explain correctly. But yes
