I watch a lot of videos on KZbin most of which are koi related but I must admit when it comes to my favourites your videos are at the top of my list. Your garden is so serene and peaceful and if I didn't know better I would swear I was in one of the gardens I saw when I visited Japan in the mid 1970's. Again it’s not a proper Japanese garden and you need to realise this , it’s a lovely collection of acers . Look for the basic fundamentals of a true Japanese garden.

Thank you for this video - I’m interested in growing a Japanese Black Pine and wasn’t sure about the technique for creating the cloud shapes, so this has been useful. I noticed that some of your Acers vary in height and fullness, so I wondered if you use a similar pruning technique to manage their height and shape, or are they just a smaller variety? I’m just starting out with designing a Japanese style garden and yours is an absolute inspiration, so thank you for sharing!
