Both sadly missed. I have met them a couple of times when I worked at BBC Ealing Film Studios in the 1970s.

🎶 There's Reverend Jenkins doing fine. He's preaching hellfire down the line. And shouting out "Send me a sign!" And one of these days we will.🎶 At the end of that line, I always imagine a two-fingered salute (specifically a backwards peace sign).

Interesting that they have the GWR emblem on their caps; a lot of the little trains interchanged with, or in a few cases were subsidiaries of, the Great Western Railway.

Judging by the GWR driver caps, They're probably on the Welshpool and Llanfair Railway or the Vale of Rheidol Railway

Maybe the Corris Railway. But this could be just an imaginary freelance narrow gauge railway in Wales for the sake of this staged musical performance! 😂

The model of that engine, is based off two real examples. You can see one at the Apedale Valley Light Railway, and the other at the Statfold Barn Railway

No, but it would be pronounced “Penny Bun”. Not that you can buy a bun - a small cake - for a penny any more.

Bendigedig. Certainly one of their best, very clever rhyming. The little Welsh trains are marvellous- and you can get to the summit of Snowdon on one- best on a sunny day for the views. 1:40 Bugeilio'r Gwenith Gwyn/Watching the White Wheat tune, a lovely song about a true tragic love. 2:20 Llwyn Onn/Ash Grove. I strongly recommend Thomas L Thomas singing those 2- on youtube. 3:46 Rhyfelgyrch Gwyr Harlech/ Men of Harlech, maybe best known in the film Zulu
