G'day Chris. I hope you are well in Berlin ❤ I love practicing the various chords on the piano like this... just gotta drill in the notes going up and down, forward, backward, upside down and downside up lol. Just gotta get some minor scales under my fingers.. Thanks for you efforts again. Love to you ❤😊

Since you can’t (easily) be here in person, I’m having a Christian Fuchs sheet music evening. I’ve been playing a bunch of tunes I haven’t played yet and this one is just wonderful. Felt like i had a glimpse of how you see slow blues. I found your channel a couple years ago when you made Slow Blues For Ray and this one is just as beautiful. Thank you sir! Your lessons are the best!

I love how you’re going slowly and simply with this giving the likes of me a chance to play some cool blues. One question if you don’t mind, and it might be completely irrelevant. Are pieces such as this arranged following the 12 bar blues format?

Glad you like it, Gerry! Yes, this one is in the 12-bar blues form.

Thanks Bernard! You don't have to put "old" in quotation marks anymore. Since my doc last week looked at his monitor and exclaimed: "I see you are in for a complete check-up. Let's start with a fun colonoscopy!" I knew my adolescence years are finally and truly over....

Thank you so much for this easy and fun tutorial. As a classically trained piano player 2 decades ago who’s only resumed playing recently, I’m working to regain dexterity but also to explore other music styles. I’m rewatching this over and over 😅

The c-bar stresses the and-three by pausing just before and using the tonic note for it. The F-bar is pretty straight. When we play this alternately there is probably the son clave behind this pattern. The secret of the groove.
