Hey there! Some things I have seen are supervising BCBA hours, providing parent training to families(I had a supervisor who did this, charging $100/hour), contracting with school settings (a lot of money can be made there), and providing in-home ABA to non-AU children (typically with very wealthy families).

I have subscribed and I believe I ran into this channel for a reason I am currently in my masters program I have fall semester that starts next week week and that is a total of 14 weeks the spring semester that starts in January , then I graduate May my goal is to be ready to sit for my exam as soon as as I can after graduation in May so I need help to have questions answered and help to study do not have folks to study with rn and my supervisor not very helpful . I have taken a few mocks . Two weeks ago I thought I was done with my feild work only to find out that the total field work hrs need to add up to be the 1500 and then multiply by 1.333 that the board does for you this number should equal 2000 even though I have only done concentrated hours

Hey there, I am trying to make sure I understand this. So you did concentrated hours, and the hours didn't equal 1500 hours? If you're doing concentrated hours, why do you need 2000 hours when the requirement is 1500?

Hi there! Tbh it's less stressful than the clinic because not each of my student get a BIP, and I do not write the plan for them; the teachers do that

This video is super helpful! I just interviewed for a school district position as a BCBA and had so many questions. What do you do if a child is absent? How do you obtain those "billable hours?"

Great question! Since I work for a school district and not contracted I receive a salary. So my annual pay is broken up over 12 months, when we have breaks I still get paid my monthly salary even though for that month I only worked 2 weeks. In the summer I get a month off and during that month I still got paid. Hope this helps
