Haha nice to hear OSU’s version. For good measure, here’s UM’s parody of Across the Field: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqHbgWCfh7iLgK8

Funny- I didn’t know football has only been played for 100 years. According to Buckeye fans, World War 1, Teddy Roosevelt, the Spanish flu and women’s voting rights didn’t exist

There also was a Columbus, Ohio radio station parody before the 1975 Ohio State-Michigan game, where the winner was to go to the Rose Bowl (of course), and the loser was to go to the Orange Bowl to face Oklahoma (which was a better quality opponent that year than the Pac 10 Rose Bowl team representative UCLA). It turns out, both teams lost their bowls that year, and I always blamed that "Oranges for Michigan" song for the loss :). Now, I want to find that parody again. Anyone have a clue where that one might be?

In honor of Rivalry week, I thought I'd post this. A later version of the Detroit version (using the Ohio State fight song) can be found at: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYPWc4p7ZpV-h7c. The Detroit version (from the early 70s) uses Woody Hayes and not Tressel, but I decline to post that one :). GO BUCKS!!!
