And this is why schools get shot up. Because of instead of learning. Kids wanna blame everyone and anything they can for their stupid problems

Yes because white males choose to blame everyone else for their problems and take it out on elementary school children. Pure evil.

This is the funniest scene I've ever seen. All I saw were kids who felt sorry for themselves and a teacher who was trying to teach them.

You gotta remember one important thing tht all races need to understand, we're all human beings. No color or race a person is doesn't make a difference, they're a human being with a soul inside them. No one is different than the other, who cares what race or what language you speak, you're a human being on the same planet that everyone else lives on. Blacks, latinos, whites, asians, jews, Japanese, Russian, French, Chinese, or anyone else they're all human beings living on the same earth like everyone else breathing the same air, eating the same food, working at same workplaces all different but still the same. Nobody is different than the other.

They messed up this scene in the second half. People do not think the dead get respect no matter the race. It's the living without respect that gets them mad and the fact that whites gets it for free while everyone else has to earn it. Not so long ago a Black person could not hold a teller job in a bank and a Hispanic woman could only clean the toilet in a hotel. And recently a black lawyer was before his own house when the neighbors called the cops. So teaching these students about Greek mythology and tainted European history is of no value to them. The teacher should have brought a chair in the middle of the students, sit down with them and, not as a teacher but a fellow human, let them know she too is very aware of the failings of the system and reason with them because they are hurting.

The White people abuse of power is no joking matter. That girls is right. Derek Chauvin is just one of many cases of police open abuse and murder of other race they like to call minority. White people thinks that the world is theirs alone. And it's not just against blacks but everyone else. Americans hate the Chinese, Russians, Europeans, Japanese, Brazilians and the list goes on. They are most racist set on earth.

If I were in that class, I'd also ask to get out of there. I don't wanna be in a class full of troublemakers. That's how my chemistry class in high school was. Most of the kids were troublemakers. Only me and my best friend Andie were the quiet and well-behaved students. The other kids smoked, cursed, and drank alcohol. I would like to see you as a blue teacher, a purple teacher, and a green teacher.

This is one of the most powerful scenes in the whole movie. What make this scene so sad is that from my understanding the kids in real life had no idea about the holocaust or the Nazis. Erin Gruwell is an amazing women. I wish I had her as a teacher growing up. But I had all the other kinds of teachers who wrote me off and treated me like I was stupid. I wish all teachers had and were like her.
