@@thefatefulforce8887 it’s what I’m feeling. I’m a little surprised bc 9.5gpp shouldn’t be an issue. I am sick though, so I’m weaker rn than normal. I dont understand, why should 11GPP be a bad thing? An excessivly light arrow might damage a bow but not a slightly heavier. It's just that the arrow will be slower but harder hiting, ideal for hunters.
@17yearoldwarbowarcher28 күн бұрын
11 gpp for manchu bows is too light. most manchu bows minimum is about 15 gpp. for my yarha 2 manchu it likes 16-20 gpp yeah its crazy compared to modern recurves at like 10 gpp
@miroslavm250328 күн бұрын
@17yearoldwarbowarcher hmm, didn't know that. Does that apply to moder laminate bows like the popular SiCai from AF Archery.
@miroslavm250328 күн бұрын
@17yearoldwarbowarcher ok, I see the shape of the bow is very specific, it's definitely a different story to a modern laminated "horse" bow. I have the AF Archery SiCai, my first bow, and I made my own arrows, one set from wood and one from bamboo. I was aiming for 9.5 to 10.5 GPP.
@17yearoldwarbowarcher27 күн бұрын
@@miroslavm2503 the sicai you could probably shoot 8 gpp minimum because its efficient
