The ONLY important thing of demo-ing a soundproofed rack cabinet should be to show how much dBi reduciton can achieve with data, using a decent sound meter would have been simple and quick and would have cleared any doubt about the quality of the soundproofing. Also the same goes for the fans, it's not clear how loud are the fans and if it make sense to even buy it or not because of the fans which, I keep reading everywhere, they are lound ... and I definitely don't want to spend 5k to buy a LOUD soundproofed rack cabinet :|

I have yet to see any rack made out of plastic... they are all made out of metal so not sure why he stated this as a "notable difference"

Online will provide the cleanest power output. However it's the most expensive and least efficient.

Voltage regulation only keeps voltage more stable, it doesn't remove ripples and harmonics, a filtering circuit could help though.

Thanks for the attempt to provide a video but the audio quality was terrible. You might consult an audio specialist who will probably suggest keeping the mic very close to the person's mouth to reduce room noise and increase high frequencies, using a compressor/limiter and some EQ, especially a wide cut of the low mids and possible slight boost around 10k.

My name is Jurvy, who will work with you on this ticket The Back-UPS is able to temporarily mute user correctable audible alarms such as On Battery. During such audible alarms, a short press of the POWER button will temporarily mute the audible alarm until the condition has been reset. A short double beep will confirm that Quick Mute has been activated. Pressing the POWER button for more than 2 seconds will turn off the UPS. Other critical events such as Battery replacement and Charger notification can not be temporarily muted. The unit in these cases must be turned off.

I have connected my tv of of 100W and playstation 5 connected to this ups model. whenever i play game the fan turns on and keeps running through out the gameplay time. But when playstation is Just turned on and while navigation or ideal it doesn't turn on. Unable to bear the noise made by the fan during game play. Is this function normal?

Аккумулятори нові, розрядив його спецвально до 25% на дисплеї, включаю на вхід 220в а він заряд вроді не бере.. на морді є дві кнопки, можна зажати, утримати а як дальше налаштовувати... інструкцію б (( 220 генерує а заряд не бере ( токовими кліщами бачу на Плюсовому проводі.. аккум 36в.

You are claiming that the ups provides sine wave O/P while operating on battery mode, however the datasheet available for the ups model says it provides step approximated sine wave. Dont know what is true, the ad or the datasheet ?? Please do clarify.

I have back-ups BE850G2-GR, what about linux? there is only one command mentioned in the manual systemctl status PBEAgent.service (not in the back-ups manual) i am guessing it does not work since you write: Linux operating systems are supported only with Smart-UPS and Easy UPS Online models. Back-UPS are not supported with Linux operating systems.

I have the 24U version on this rack and I love it. Only thing is there are 6 fans and they are loud but still quieter than an my Synology NAS 1619+ and 45Drives server.

APC products feel like they're developed in a complete vacuum from customers and this video shows how absolutely complacent their employees have become. Why aren't there standard HVAC air filters on the intake? Why isn't there intake or exhaust ducting mounts to connect the unit to a CRAC or exhaust vent? Why are we still stuck in 1989 using noisy 80-120mm exhaust fans instead of high efficiency blowers? Why wood veneer? Why aren't there better seals containing hot/cold air? There is such limited competition in this space that folks like Richard at APC can sit on their hands all day and still collect a paycheck for just fogging a monitor. Looking forward to somebody aptly eating your lunch someday APC. It's a shame.
