@OlgaKcb Hi Olga, I have been learning this piece and listening to the way you play it just before the chords going up and down towards the ending. Is this your own arrangement? Would it be possible to emulate it in a KZbin performance of my own please, as it’s so beautiful.

I believe Adagio is a tiny bit slower than this. Try it a bit slower; with a more emotive mournful qesture, while tiresomely plucking. To achieve this Adagio quality, the lead melody notes will lag slightly out of syncopation with the notes immediately preceding or following them. This high note precedence is what sets the speed at "moderately slow".
