I noticed you are using a few sheets of plexiglass or lucite on your layout. Can you tell me where you got it and how you cut it? I am in need of a few pieces myself but have no idea how to go about getting some, or how to cut it to the size I need. Thanks!

I had the plexi, but you can get plexiglass at most home improvement stores or hardware stores. I cut it using a high tooth count circular saw blade. I have the blade set to where the teeth are no more than 1/8" through the plexiglass when cutting. GO SLOW when cutting.

I picked up a used Anycubics Photon for $40 at a train show. I upgraded the lcd screen and fep film from Chitubox. The printer is not big enough to print 50ft HO boxcars, but for smaller stuff it is great. Thanks for the video! Happy 3d printing!

That's why I went with the Elegoo Saturn 3. It is big enough to print HO scale locomotive shells and cars. I am printing parts for a friend's 1" scale GP60M locomotive.

Yes it is like an 8% grade believe it or not. My 2 Intermountain GEVO's on the upper level can easily pull 15 to 18 cars up it. For my operations that will be about the most I would be sending from the lower yard to the upper yard. If you do go this route, I recommend making sure you have access points to the hidden track.

I really like the idea of the long riser being hidden. I’d love that on my next layout. You don’t have to scenic it, just hide it. Yours looks pretty steep. No issues?

The 2 around the athearn engine are either Bowser or intermountain.... athearn never made Canadian steps and railings...unless he kitbashed them.....

Just found your podcast, the guys at the Crossing Gate podcast mentioned you on their Facebook page, thought I'd follow your KZbin as well, just one suggestion doing your KZbin in landscape not portrait, only listened up to episode 5 of the podcast and looking forward to the rest and watching your future KZbin videos, cheers Reid 👍

I appreciate the follow. As for the video's, I agree on the landscape vs portrait. I have been shooting videos for other platforms as well. so I have been just doing on style. I am planning in the near future getting an actual video camera so I can double shoot my videos for both formats. Thank you for your comment. Bandit Host - MRT
