In my minds eye I would drive my passenger tire over the rock, leaning me into the slick side on the driver side, this way I am not being pushed into the rock but into my driver side making it more stable. My two cents for what its worth. Lol I should have waited to post to finish the video, What the last guy did !!

No video of lifting and how close you can get it to the ceiling. How did you attach your rack to the hoist?
@off-roading2 жыл бұрын
I bolted the 2x6 to the ceiling joists and then attached the hooks for the chains and the hoist to the 2x6. I lift the top up till the open rear window is almost to the ceiling. That is high enough to swing the rack under the top. Thanks for reaching out.

@off-roading2 жыл бұрын
So… things have changed there. There are two BoH trails and Guard Rail is really torn up. I don’t know that can recommend it for stock Jeep. Last time I did it with a 3.5” lift on 37’s I had trouble and that was running the trail in reverse. You don’t want to run that alone.

The office lady said my stock 2022 4Runner TRD Pro would not be able to do Guard Rail. After looking at this video, it looked easier than PeeWee. I went last weekend and the lady said a winch and a lift were must haves to do this trail. PeeWee was a 3 and Guard Rail was a 5.

@off-roading2 жыл бұрын
There are not very many obstacles that require large ground clearance on Pee-Wee Crossing and they can be avoided. Of course be careful and don't wheel alone. When we did Pee-Wee the first time we were stock and had no issues.

Good driving on HG. I just did HR but skipped the obstacles. At the end, you should never get under a vehicle in that precarious position- ever. Winch cables can snap and about 100 other things could go wrong. Simply back down. On these trails I am not afraid to use my reverse gear- it's the most underrated/under utilized gear we have. It often gets blocked by pride.
