Well thank you! I’ve always given my Striper away, and I do know that eating Stripers should be like a once in a while thing, if not at all. @@ReelTimeWithTimm I have trout soft plastics also bass and BFS along with salt water as well. Like 16 different soft plastics. Making terminal soon as well. I also carry JDM fishing line. Likewise man fishing has been good this year.

Have you tried the East End? I’ve been seeing anglers catching there because they have been stocking from the ramp. The water temps are good enough and the Trout action is heating up all over. The North shore is a guarantee with light line and Power bait or worms on a Carolina Rig. I’m hearing temps will be very cold soon, but hope you can get out in the next couple weeks and land some nice ones 🤙👊

Vista point turn out, Cleghorn turnout, Miller’s Canyon turnout, etc. You’re going to have to hike in from whenever you park. Hikes take 10-15 minutes. 🤙

Yes, I did know about Bullheads either though. They do have Channel Cats, and I heard but can’t confirm Flatheads too.

​@ReelTimeWithTimm big bear lake has channel catfish, blue catfish and bullhead catfish. The water gets too cold to support flathead catfish. The reports of flathead catfish are from people catching bullhead cats and thinking they are juvenile flats

No, not only with camping. You can fish this lake whenever you would like. I usually hike in, so I don’t have to leave when they close the gates. 🤙

Yes, sometimes I go past the marina to get into Silverwood. The wind picks up sometimes very quickly up there so the closer I can get to Miller’s Canyon, the better fishing.
