Writing this note under my husband's profile. Thank you for sharing. We subleased an apartment for a couple of months (from Jonathan and Mary Durrett) when they were saving to move into their first home in the early 1980's. It was wonderful to see them again. I remember how noble they were in their earlier years and it has only increased over time. I was especially touched by Mary's knowledge of who she is and her self confidence which was also evident when she was a young mom (they had two children when we met them). We lived in Hawaii for about 6 years (our first two boys were born there) and it was a special time. We realized that our roots were not in Hawaii and we moved back to the mainland to be closer to family but will always be grateful for the opportunity to live in Hawaii and for the friendships formed there.

It would be good to say what the female guests maiden name was. I know this does not apply here as Sis Chen was already married I had room mates from Taiwan one was Becky Chen and there were also two brothers who were Chens. In those days we only had one student from China. Noon Fie Lee. There were many from Hong Kong. Enjoyed hearing Sis Chen s accent but most importantly message. Enjoy the Reunion

The reason this team is so honorable is because they work with love money that is given to the Lord as a sign of thanks for the whole.

Lucky you Lei and Bobby Aloha Randy, so looking forward to seeing and listening to you. 47 years ago we were doing the same thing. Graduating. You were such a powerhouse and motivator. You even managed to get me to do a solo. From then on every morning has been Oh what a beautiful morning. There were only 900 students back then, Kim, Sandi, Dani, Sharon, Karla and Eileen were my roommates, so Showcase was a big part of our unitlife. Give them my love Aloha and Mahalo for some of my magical memories Denise Thomason Class of 75

I wasn't in Showcase, but many of my roommates, Dorm and Ward members were, Randy was in our Ward and I had forgotten, he was our student body Pres. So willing to give his talents, gentle, kind courteous and respectful. I remember on April fools we raided the mems Dorm and Randy was not spared. He stood out in a crowd, just like your Dad.

Mahalo, Liz, for sharing! I love how you've shared these things: - When choosing your life partner, never settle less for what you want and deserve - We are the sum total of all our ancestors. We are still living the wildest dreams of our ancestors. - Accept change. The Lord would mold us. - Maintain a non-judgmental stance on ourselves, family members, and people we work with

Great to hear Randy will be Fridays guest, will be so good to have an Easter with him. One Christmas 73 or 74 my roommate Kim Pollock invited myself, Derkin and Ester to her home at Eva Beach. Randy and Rich came. It was so cosy and Christmas. We'll went carolling and had wonderful food.

Really enjoyed your interviewing Ammon and learning about your life Alisi. Your parents were at CCH in my days. I respect that you say being the primary carer for your Dad was an important part of your career. I worked in this Feild for 20 years as an opportunity to live and travel overseas however I was not related and lacked a deep familial connection. You're amazing as are all spouses, parents, siblings and other relatives who work so unselfishly for loved ones.
