I’m so afraid of zippers. I watch it very many times different videos. Any suggestions to calm the fear!

Kenneth D. King has the best method of inserting an invisible zipper. To insert a regular centered zipper use machine or hand baste the seam closed. Center the zipper face down over the stitches. Use painters tape in 3 or 4 places across the zipper. Stitch then remove painters tape and basting stitches. Practice and don’t be afraid to use your seam ripper. I’ve been sewing over 50 years and I have multiple seam rippers scattered throughout my house 😅

I love the fabric used for the blue dress! That swimsuit is so cute and so is that sweater!!!! The first outfit is to DIE FOR! Tbh everything is super cute and I love the fabric choices! At 1:55 you say it's a good idea to understitch at this point. Is that exactly where you pointed or should I look up understitching? Unfortunately, the reason I watched your video is to see how to understitch.

OMG! Tilly!! I was ready to throw out my sewing machine and go buy a new one. I already gave someone $75 to fix this and it didnt work. I went through each step and lo and freaking behold, it was the bobbin tension. May only good things happen to you forever. Thanks a lot!!

This is not chain-stitching at all. Thats a serger. A chain stitch is a type of stitch.
