This transcription was by Grieg himself. The indication is Andante. Which makes his tempo spot-on. His rubato was heartfelt and tone projection a delight to listen. In brief I thought his playing absolutely “spot on”…. of course this is one opinion, different from the previous comment but that is what makes music so wonderful… as was his rendition. ❤❤

I the Carnegie hall the piano is really sensitive and mellow. For the general performance ur gonna play a messo piano like a messo piano forte like sound:) your probably done with ur performance but u can use this for future references

Thanks you for a beautifully expressive performance and above all one WITHOUT trying to do so much to the piece that it is wrecked (so many professional players do this. I had to listen to the start of four performances on KZbin including a couple in this competition that were hard to bear before I came to this.
