Yep, had the same problem. I tried the calibration but noticed that without me touching the sticks, the right hand one was twitching showing random forward movement. As an electronics engineer, this is a smoking gun pointing towards noisy carbon track potentiometers. The drone was also creeping forward in flight when hands off controls. Here's how I fixed it... Follow the procedure to remove the bottom plate. There are YT videos showing how to disassemble the controller, but stop when you've got the bottom plate off. From here you can see the two joystick potentiometers. Now all you have to do is spray a little Aero-Klene 50 electronic cleaning solvent into them, and wriggle the sticks to and fro. Do NOT use switch cleaner! That stuff has a little oil mixed into it! That'll make it worse! Stick with Aero-Klene 50 electronic cleaning solvent if you're unsure, as I know that product is oil-free. Don't over spray it just a couple of 1 second bursts on each. Get the spray straw close to the bottom of the stick where it joins the circuit board. The spray evaporates very quickly but leaves the surface very cold, and you can get a little condensation occur. Leave for five minutes and re-assemble. Nearly all RC controllers have carbon track potentiometers and they all suffer with this from time to time. Military spec drones will probably have optical encoders instead of carbon potentiometers. These are way too expensive for commercial equipment, so don't expect DJI to uprate them to these! Afterwards, the twitching has stopped. When the carbon track gets dirty again it'll need doing again, but probably not for a couple of hundred hours use. Hope this resolves your issues.

A6000 not made with steel as you said. Also plastic body but feels nicer than a5000 body. A6000 has better porformance compared to A5000 in that EVF, faster shooting frames and focusing. I owned both but now I keep A5000 and A6500.

Is the difference between the a5000 and a5100 really that important? I see a $70 price decrease for the a5000 but I'm not sure if that's worth getting it over the a5100.. thanks

im torn between the two also. ill be using it for travel videos and upload it only in youtube. i also play alot with the color grading and applying luts to my videos. Will the a5000 work the same as the a6000. thank you :)

I highly recommend the a6000, Im not biased as i have owned both. The EVF (electronic view finder) is a game changer for photography. Also the a6000 shoots XAVC vs the a5000 which only shoots in AVCHD. In a nut shell means more detail and highlight control with the a6000. The body of the a6000 is a bit more ergonomic than the a5000. The LCD screen is light-years ahead on the a6000 and makes composing your shots much easier.The a6000 has a hot shoe to connect external mic's where the a5000 does not, which is a must for all you video heads. I mainly shoot action so having the 11fps bursts is a dream! In all in my experience the a6000 is well worth the 100-300$ you might be spending. The ISO can be pushed WAAAY higher on he a6000 for those looking to shoot in low light situations which i do daily. In conclusion the a6000 is just a better system all the way around. Don't get me wrong the a5000 was also good but when compared to the limits of the a6000 it is clearly inferior. Hope this helps guys.

Same issue here. Did you get it resolved? I can get it back for short periods when upgrading/downgrading firmware or resetting the controller (C1+C2+Shutter and turn it off). But again, it is temperamental and not always works. forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=80697
