The Bible says that when the son was afar off the father saw him and ran to meet him. Ask yourself this - how was the father able to see him afar off? It's because every day he was looking for him to come home. Isn't that just like the Lord? We can be such fools and leave Him but He's ready and willing to forgive and welcome us back as sons and daughters.

Yesterday I was driving through a town I saw a man walking towards on coming traffic as he got closer it looked like my son who is an attac and is homeless and also the one who told me his mother and I made him it was our responsibility to raise him the rest of his life..after being physically abusing me and verbally to his mother. We had to get one of those orders again him. But seeing him made me cry. I thought I bet he doesn't have any money in his pocket. I asked the Lord right then. Why does my heart still break for him after the things he's done. It would be easier if I didn't love him. But I do and continue to pray God brings him to his knees whatever that would take. I thought I need a song!! I had never heard the mckameys sing this and it came up I thought it was a song I heard just a day ago. But how God used the words to the first verse... to remind us he loves us all the same.. thank you for who posted this to remind me of God's unconditional Love.. ❤ pray for us that God will mend this brokenness!!

Oh my thats singin!! Im glad i can feel the spirit when its in song! 😂 thats heart felt singin! Im glad im saved..the blend of this family singin cant be duplicated.. its like bein saved you either got it or you dont! Im glad i got...what i got..when i got it!! (Salvation) the singing now are like the churches cold and no spirit.. Im thankful for this family their songs have helped lift me and remind me. God is always there just call on him.. So sorry to hear of their family loss. So glad for who posted this song!! Its good when it makes ya rejoice at Gods promise..we'll make it there too!! ❤😂😅

Yes! I began singing this song after hearing The McKameys sing it in a church back in 1980. Sheryl, their youngest daughter is so gifted in song writing. This one of hers has been my favorite of all. I just sang this last Sunday in church. I just wish they had this on a soundtrack. But it is great to pull up on you tube & listen to. I have it on an album from when albums was the popular thing. My heart is saddened that Peg McKamey, the mother, has passed away, but she is shouting the victory in heaven & lives forevermore! She passed away Dec. 26 th, 2023, incase anyone didn’t know this. 80 yrs. of age. Lovely Christian lady who sang her life all for Jesus!
