Man what are you doing there by yourself. We do not do heavy manual work in the middle of the day. Its too hot and exhausting. You dont want a heatstroke. If i were you i would hire a few Pakis or Albans to do the cleaning job.....

Beautiful place. That small stone building isn't worth renovating, I'm afraid.... It's built far too poorly... it a toolshed at best. You'd be a lot better off building something new or tearing it down, clean all the stone and rebuild it using all new limestone mortar. That way the roof will also be straight and be able to keep water out 🙂

Gets going with a saw , axe, spade. Soon it's a chainsaw. A bloody strimmer. Maybe a mini-digger. Old mortar is raked out. Roofs ripped off. Small animals whose home it is are evicted or crushed. We rarely tread lightly. We mindlessly make mini-holocausts where ever we go.

Two suggestions as a former olive oil producer: a) Get a local to show you how to trim the olive trees, because you chopped some very good and productive branches and generally that was hard to watch. b) Get a triskeli (three-legged) ladder from a local. Olive trees are not usually suitable for ladders that lean on the tree trunk, thus you need a triskeli which is still a bit dangerous, but a lot safer than what you did.

als ik jouw was alle bomen uit rooien tot de zee ,tenslotte je wil zee zien,nee nee grapje moet je nooit doen zijn zeer oude bomen , en 2x13mtr zee container woning op metalen palen laten zetten je kan je auto, traktor,water tank tuin gereedschappen en werk plaats voor maken en op de dak mooie terras met druiven bougainville jasmijn etc,naar leiden met enorme mooi uitzicht, en je kijk over de olijven heen ,jij heb een smaalspoor gebruikte Fendt met attributen nodig ,je kan klein stukje land bewerken en eigen groenten verbouwen ,dat je gedurfd heb daar te leven ,petje af voor je ,veel geluk en succes .

The yogurt, berries, honey, & tea (?) looked good. How are you keeping your food refrigerated while there? Do you have a cooler with ice? Do the constant sound of the insects ever bother you? I would want to go swimming every day if I were there. Wow, you can see so many stars there at night!
