A question since I like to try to make things as cheap as possible. If you want to add a scented oil to the wax is their another alternative than the expensive candle oils? Do you know if the scented luminessce oils they sell at the dollar stores are sufficient? And I read that the scented oil is added after you pour the wax into the jar. Is there a reason for that if anyone knows?

every single one i made went out like yours and luckily i can just reuse most of the wax in a normal candle but i don't think it works at least not for me... if i ever try it again i will soak the popsicle sticks for a day or more

i tied it idk if it was done right but they would light and then start to go out and within a few seconds they went out.. i supposed i didn't soak them in oil long enough you said 24 hours i barely did 4 hours..

What about kitchen cabinets? How well would they stick?

Thank you for the video! I didn’t have any cotton wick string so I started looking at my popsicle sticks like hmm 🤔 are these any different than the store bought? Probably thinner but I’m gonna try it. So instead of soaking the sticks in oil overnight, I heated them in a pan with the oil. I figured the heat would hurry the absorption 😁 I guess we will see!
