Poor effort, I grill my sausages and heat the oil separately because you need the oil much hotter (almost smoking)than what it was in the video. If you look at the Yorkshire pudding, it has not rising very much. That is because of the oil and not resting the batter mix(minimum 2/3 hours).

I have a small pork joint I have defrosted it but it didn't defrost fully so put it under tap running tap water have I done the right thing I am going to salty and then like you said

@KatieHomeCook well, I cooked it, crackling best ever, but nearly burnt as too high in the oven at the end, pork over cooked especially round the outside, I wonder if next time cook shorter with skin exposed, foil round the rest?

@ I would suggest a lower oven temp for the long cook maybe or if your joint is small reduce the amount of time in the slow cook, foil should work though if that’s easiest for you
