What’s the lowest power wattage you can set the sunrise and Sunset to because apparently at 220 W it was too low for the sunrise and sunset feature to work

If any channel is dimmed down below 10% of it total power draw it will shut off until it is raised to 10 or above. This may be what you were running into. It should not be a problem if you are dimming (using sunset) down to zero anyway.

Also do believe the warm white side is the side with the GML logo right or is the cool white the GML logo side ? It doesn’t state that I’m my paper manual which is which but I guess the website manual is the updated version

Nope, the cool white side should be on the side with the GML logo on the light fixture.

For HPS spectrum you will want all Warm White and no cool white.

Ok so I’ll spend a good time with it tomorrow but changed the channel 3 and 4 to zero on that screen I wonder 💭 if that’s why I had a baby tiny little surge was that had channel 3 and 4 to 100 💯????????? But I watched for around 5 minutes with no surge but I’ll see tomorrow 😊

Ok now I see I need to modify that in the presets since all 4 channels say 100 💯 make channel 3 and 4 zero in the presets like you said can’t delete last file only modify❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Now when I go into presets mine is set at 100 channel 1 100 channel 2 100 channel 3 100 channel 4 and can not delete that preset from manufacture with the voyager ?

@@chadwickbradbury8390 like I said in the video, you can not delete the first one, but you can modify it by hitting the button next to delete. This way you can set the numbers to whatever you like then save.

You will get better penetration having it under the canopy, also if your in soil, if it is pointed towards the soil, it will kill all the life in the top half of your soil

Some people claim to see shorter harvest times when using far red after lights out to "put the plants to sleep" faster and to simulate the far red flash in late sunset.

I have tested them on spider mites and found it effective, it will work on the russet/broad mites, I just haven't personally had a chance to test it on them as I haven't seen them around these parts for a bit.

the controller can control up to 4 channels at once. Your borg has 4 channels, so it can run your borg and then it would require a second controller to run both your magma and nitro

As an alternative - go look at DLI CRI 150W UV (It has UV-C, UV-B, & UV-A - as well as a supplemental grow light all perfectly balanced and will last just as long with far better results plus you hang it above your plants ;-)~ or add the GML Predator and use both. Always good to have more than 1 option, ehh? Happy growing!

You got any exact recommendations for Spectrum I can use on the Borg for flower bulk and finish? And how much far red can I give for the sunset?

@@HospitalOnTop-xz9uk I like the spectrum #49 in the manual for bulking, #6 for finishing. I like to keep far red at 10% or lower of total spectrum during the flower cycle. If you are using a controller with a sunset option you could experiment with higher levels of far red. Too much far red usually will show up in the plant as excessive stretching.

@Thank you, I got the GML Controller , I run far red very high after stretch and in early veg and from my experience when the plants stop stretching on around day 21, there is no extra stretch from the far red

@ I am now on my second run with the same strain in week 7 flower and the buds look bigger than on the First run, but I also added more deep red in flower general, so its hard to tell. I need a few more runs to say more about this

Unfortunate that you aren't able to physically see the spectrum you've created without a spectrometer. It would be killer if you were able to see the spectrum change as you change values for each channel. I remember there were plans for an app in the future. Do you know anything about that Spartan? Im curious to know what the functions would be via an app!

It uses UVC light as a pesticide. UVC lighting has been used for years and years in Europe for pest/fungal control since they have tighter restrictions on what can be sprayed. Tons of info online about it all if you are interested.

@@willstubbs617 Yep, UVC light. That's why you don't run these in the room with people/pets in there with them. That's also the reason they only run for short periods of time.

The only thing this will do is keep mites off the top colas. Source: I have a 30w UVC florescent t5. When UVC reflects off most surfaces, it shifts spectrum. Therefore, direct contact is needed. When UVC bounces off the grow tent walls, it is no longer uvc.
